XCOM Enemy Unknown is one of my top 10 favorite games I've ever played. I truly didn't know what I was getting myself into when I first bought it on sale in the early 2010s. This game walked so other tactical turn based games could soar onto consoles in my eyes

I played the hell out of it and it is one of just a handful of games that I jumped back into right after finishing a playthrough. The gameplay is fun and the fact you can play as dogmatic or heretical and that effects your party makeup makes multiple playthroughs really fun.

Rogue trader is great RPG game. But, it's not balanced at all, even on max difficulty, you can destroy all enemies in one turn, no tactical thinking required, just right build.

I'm sorry, but in which universe is baldurs gate 3 is a strategy/tactic rpg? Wasteland 2 and 3 sure, but baldurs gate 3 is strictly C rpg

I think there is always a big overlap between such genres. For example all turn based (tactical) RPG's are also automatic Strategy Games (so it makes the game already a strategy and rpg mix). Because a CRPG doesn't have to be turn based.

@@sagittariusa9012 huh? So most final fantasy, breath of fire and other turn base game is a strategy game? That's the first time I've heard of that one 😂. Strategy/tactic rpg game is where you move your characters in a grid base/gridless map. It's something like ff tactic, front mission, tactic ogre, x-com, etc
