Sammy Viti I don’t think he is lying. Pretty much every time he talks about doing some of the shady things he’s done he starts to whisper like he doesn’t want anyone to hear. That’s a reaction to actually do the things he said. Also if he was lying it be hard to remember all the stories he’s told and he always tells the same ones the same way. It’s pretty much impossible to fake all those stories without tripping up if it was a lie.

These guys are therapy for me, been struggling with blow and booze for the last year and been going good for two weeks so far. Just the start, but these guys both got it together after dropping the habits...using them as a motivating factor *update* was clean before the pandemic for a few months, then all of a sudden I couldn’t hang out with my supportive friends anymore and isolation brought it back out and worse. Mainly the drinking not the blow, but I’m on 8weeks sober all over again as of today. Appreciate y’all, GANG GANG! As of 10/14/22 I’ve drank 4 times in a whole year, each time reminded me my body just hates it lol. Never became a cycle again thank God but currently I’m down 15 lbs hitting the gym, taking care of male pattern balding successfully and it would not be possible if I was that same man. It’s so worth having control of yourself 12/6/2022 still going strong, now down 27lbs, I sleep undisturbed through the night and my thinking is so clear really nothing overwhelms me. For anyone considering it I’m 32 now, but at my 21yo weight and health. In only a year of quitting drinking and taking care of myself! 2/1/23. AND STILLLLLLLLLLL going strong now down to 215. I appreciate everyone’s support! Theo, hope you see this. We love you dawg!! 5/4/23 and STILLLLLLL! Free of that bullshit, now down to 195lbs. Besides exercise and eating habits I highly suggest everyone listen to Hemi Sync (intro to focus 10) meditations as it’s an easy way to reset and re evaluate your life from a Birds Eye non biased view. You’ll call your own bullshit like this! 8/3/2023 still going strong boys. Ley take away of this whole ride wasn’t that I was addicted to alcohol or even just using it for anxiety. I realized the anxiety was assumed because of a self image issue and lack of self worth. I had to dig deep and remind myself of all the gods things I knew myself to be including what other people have always complimented me on. None of it mattered if I didn’t believe it. I encourage everyone to re establish their identity (not circumstances) with themselves! 12/22/2023 Still staying healthy, put on some muscle and focusing on hobbies i like, learning some new things to stay busy and keeping the mind elastic. Ending the year strong, i want to tell each and every one of you thank you for support, and to love yourself! You are worth it, any struggle to improve yourself is just growing pains and the reward is immeasurable. Love Y'all!

He lived all of these stories and was just as fucked up as they're told. But make no mistake. This man is a great husband, and he's a great father to a beautiful little girl. I'm proud to call Joey family. He's a kind, gentle man And I'm grateful everyday that he's as close as he is to us. I love you Uncle Joey

Joe Edwards Agreed!!! It makes me feel even worse about the podcast that Bill Burr was on. He had absolutely no respect or care at all for Theo. But not Joey. I’ve never seen him cut people down on any podcast same with Theo. They both seem like just people who recognize a genuine side of people. But Burr was just interested in cutting Theo down at every word he said. I think Joey being a Dad really helped him to see the nicer gentler side of things. They feel similar to each other on opposite ends of the spectrum. Joey the guy who cleaned up his lifestyle and attitude and Theo is working on doing the same. I love’em both.

Wished i could have a friendship like these 2. I miss my friends when i was 20. At 45 it sucks, i have a wife and kids and love em, but everyone needs a good friend outside family. Thx theo and joey.
@dantes9074 Жыл бұрын
Being honest, i was always worried of the friendships that were lost with time. It could be from growing apart naturally or just taking separate roads in life, Ive always made it known to the people I called friends that if we left off on good terms then shit you can for sure hit me up out of the blue if we do grow apart. I got a few good buddies from highschool i still call true friends. Im happy for that, I've still had my fair share of friendships tho that just abruptly ended and it really only happened once school ended. Everyone says they will stay in touch but thats a very hard thing to do when everyone is out there building the life they want. I went into a trade school a lil while ago and made some damn good friends there as well. I still talk to the guys every day from the tradeschool but ive noticed it happening again. Talking less and less or having less time to hang out. Everyones always busy, y'know how it goes. If it makes you feel better a large majority of people feel the same way you do. Edit: myself included.

When ever Uncle Joey is about to tell you a story about some dirt he did he almost starts to whisper. That’s how you can tell he actually did the things he talks about. Hard to not notice that after the first time you hear him doing it. I also think it’s because he has genuine remorse as well. What a great guest and person.

I just realized that Joey and Theo are like the same person that just grew up in different places. Both of them had a CRAZY time growing up. Both of them had extreme drug problems. Both of them managed to turn that crazy life around and make something out of it. Every time I see Joey or Theo I think to myself "How...? How did someone that deep manage to turn their life around?" It's honestly inspirational. They both said to themselves "If I don't do anything I'm not going to go anywhere." and picked themselves off the cocaine ridden bathroom floor, put on their vests and told themselves "Fuck you." because they didn't like who they were. It takes strength to do something like that.

Theo, you need to stop worrying about being a good dad, you'll be great. You're already a great role model for adults watching this podcast. Raising kids is the purpose of life and anybody who tells you otherwise is a selfish nihilist who doesn't appreciate what got them here.
