Well said man , you speak the truth for sure. It was enlightening to watch Mike Tyson reminisce with one of his idols. Reminded me of how much hard work pays off. And how the pay off is just surviving the storm, weathering the game of life. And still being able to look back, laugh about it and smile. Regardless of how far your journey took ya. Wow, 9:55 Tyson wipes the tears from his face, powerful. Then when he tells Sugar Ray, “ you don’t understand that you were immortal to me”, with his voice crackin from the feeling of reverence he has for him. Wow. The alphabet channels could never have an interview like this. This is the greatest show hands down! E and Mike are the very best if you ask me. And Mike is one of the greatest living treasures we have today!! Long live Hotboxin!!

My favorite episode right here! Mike has turned into a humble, myopic intellectual.. I have followed Tyson since 84 and it fills me with such happiness to see a Mentally fit Tyson. People say Tyson is smart and for me that’s a one dimensional description for him he is an intellect and a philosopher who can reach any person of academic status.

Chuks Odenigbo Agreed. Shrooms and acid brought this outta me. I felt as if I were inside of myself, looking through my eyes as the world seeing myself. It made me realize the magnitude of how I was living, and where I was heading. I’m pushing 40 now, I’m losing things I thought I’d never lose and gaining things I’ve never wanted. But that’s life. The most honest advice I can give, is never silence your emotions they knew us balanced. I’ve gone through periods where I forgot how to cry, I just couldn’t do it. I had hardened myself to the point that I just didn’t give a shit, about anything. Be honest with yourself, when that honesty begins to hurt and bother you, your conscience is telling you to make a change.

I could feel every bit of all of that emotion as I’m sure everyone else could. It was some very deeeeeep shit!!! This is one of the best podcasts I've EVER seen. I'm not engaging in hyperbole just because I have loved the sport of boxing since I was a little boy, either. I came here thinking I was about to see two legends talk about my favorite sport...and I found myself forgetting that I was listening to two boxing legends. I was watching two MEN, speaking truth from the depths of their souls, examining everything from their deepest pains to their greatest triumphs, & how those experiences made them who they are. I am so inspired by the man Mike has become, & how he still has to do battle with his own demons on a daily basis, & how that internal conflict has resulted in unmistakable wisdom. Same is true of Ray. This is a podcast that could truly change someone's entire perspective, & maybe even save their life. Mike Tyson could well surpass even Joe Rogan, if he keeps dropping episodes like this.

What led to Mike's beautiful rant, was Sugar Ray Leonard's moment of vulnerability where he shares a childhood tribulation and then pauses because he's not sure why he just shared something so deep...this vulnerability sparked emotions in Mike that allowed him to share thoughts and give some flowers so to speak to Sugar Ray in his presence...great stuff. If Sugar Ray's inadvertent openness doesn't occur then this is probably just a boxing talk clinic, (which would still be gold) but because of it you hear the inner emotions that accompany the fighters along with it.
