Weird how that happens huh? The ones who are most brutal at 25 are the gentlest, must humble, and most compassionate once they hit middle age and beyond. One thing is for sure, these guys have NOTHING to prove and I think that might make it easier for them to be as open emotionally as they are. This video was a hell of a ride. Because down deep you know Mike fucking Tyson could still put a historical-level asswhipping on someone who deserved it, but as he says himself, he doesn't like that version of himself anymore and he's SCARED of it. I'm scared of it too, Mike, I hope you never have a reason to let that beast out again.

There is just something about Mike Tyson man... To be "The Baddest Man On The Planet" and you're on camera weeping openly telling a man you admire, love, and are inspired by him in one breath and the next breath you say "That's why men feared me. I'm speechless, this just shows that boxing literally saved both of em and almost destroyed them both, even though they were at the top of the game, they also had so much pressure and so many struggles outside of the ring. This is so humane, thank you Mike 🙌

Interesting stuff boxing can take a poor kid outta the ghetto but can never take that shame and low self esteem outta the kid. Thats why so many end up on drugs especially after retirement when everybody stops loving you... Lets keep an eye on Mr Wilder that loss could send him down that road. Fury has already been there and was lucky to come back.

My favorite episode right here! Mike has turned into a humble, myopic intellectual.. I have followed Tyson since 84 and it fills me with such happiness to see a Mentally fit Tyson. People say Tyson is smart and for me that’s a one dimensional description for him he is an intellect and a philosopher who can reach any person of academic status.

Mike is honest and comfortable with himself as a man.. He's not trying to fit a "definition" .... Chuks Odenigbo Agreed. Shrooms and acid brought this outta me. I felt as if I were inside of myself, looking through my eyes as the world seeing myself. It made me realize the magnitude of how I was living, and where I was heading. I’m pushing 40 now, I’m losing things I thought I’d never lose and gaining things I’ve never wanted. But that’s life. The most honest advice I can give, is never silence your emotions they knew us balanced. I’ve gone through periods where I forgot how to cry, I just couldn’t do it. I had hardened myself to the point that I just didn’t give a shit, about anything. Be honest with yourself, when that honesty begins to hurt and bother you, your conscience is telling you to make a change.

Don’t agree, but he’s still young and inexperienced. For example asking a question about being a father when Sugar Ray and Mike just explained. And sometimes thinking something was a joke while obvious that it was serious. He seems insecure among all this greatness (which isn’t strange, but in his role he shouldn’t be) I don’t feel he ads very much because of that. Always playing very safe or not getting it straight away. Don’t find his questions really interesting when compared to what Mike Tyson asks their guests.

Sanne de la Haye stop judging everything you watch as if it’s being scored. Has to be one of the worst qualities modern day people have acquired. Learn to just sit back and allow things to happen organically. I’m sure as hell you don’t do your job perfect, but you probably try your best... and when your best isn’t good enough you learn from your mistakes and make an honest attempt to correct them moving forward. Have that same level of mercy towards everything around you. We are imperfect at our core, not everything has to be so damn perfect.

This is one of the best podcasts I've EVER seen. I'm not engaging in hyperbole just because I have loved the sport of boxing since I was a little boy, either. I came here thinking I was about to see two legends talk about my favorite sport...and I found myself forgetting that I was listening to two boxing legends. I was watching two MEN, speaking truth from the depths of their souls, examining everything from their deepest pains to their greatest triumphs, & how those experiences made them who they are. I am so inspired by the man Mike has become, & how he still has to do battle with his own demons on a daily basis, & how that internal conflict has resulted in unmistakable wisdom. Same is true of Ray. This is a podcast that could truly change someone's entire perspective, & maybe even save their life. Mike Tyson could well surpass even Joe Rogan, if he keeps dropping episodes like this.
