Tell Lee the biggest difference between hard drugs (coke, narcotics, speed, etc) and food addiction is the withdrawal effects. Once you get hooked on serious drugs (the longer you've been on it and the amount you take daily is important) it's extremely hard to stop because you'll get very sick. You get so sick (like having a bad case of the Flu) that you are afraid to stop. So you keep getting "high" everyday so you won't get sick. That's the trap. You're constantly getting "high" so you don't get sick. I'm talking about people that are daily users (7 days a week habit). Also, I am not talking about weed. Weed doesn't do this. If you're a casual user (like Theo mentioned) just getting "high" once or twice a week you aren't in the "trap" yet and you can easily stop without much withdrawal symptoms. Serious drug users must get high everyday. If they don't, they'll get very sick.
