I just saw the end to road to ripped video but wanted to comment on the latest. I know the comments can be harsh sometimes especially on someones lifestyle and personal choices but I and probably many others honestly prefer the realness to your videos. The idea that macros are whats important and that you can still enjoy "snacks" and low cal meals that taste incredible and also feel like deserts in some cases is a lot more realistic for loads of people then the OMG RIPPED SHREDDED EVERY DAY ALL DAY craziness. Not to mention that having people never enjoy themselves and just eat like a zombie everyday without any fun is boring and also again not realistic for anyone at all. People party, people drink, etc, etc, and its super important to show that that's still okay to enjoy life instead of never enjoying any fun activity or denying food at parties for example just because you are on that cut. That all has it's place but for beginners and people who are just starting to help themselves and their bodies you are a true asset! Never forget it!

I wholeheartedly agree. As someone who had to make major changes due to health challenges, I found that the unrealistic denial dieting only lead to failure for me, ending in overboard binging! Ugh. So smarter choices, smaller portions, became my salvation!

I just found your channel through a meal prep from several months ago! Edit to include: after a series of strokes, and a year of learning to walk, etc. Again, I ballooned to 275 pounds, which most wouldn't believe due to my 5'8" frame carrying it well. But when ny health, lab work, showed a potential crisis, I decided to focus on high protein, low (not no) carb meals, snarter choices portioned smaller but more often through the day. I'm eating about 5 to 6 times a day, which helps me not ever feel hungry. I also don't deny cravings, only limit them to small controlled portions. And no more eating in front of television! In less than 18 months I dropped to 150 pounds and was able to stay there until recent health challenges, two shoulder surgeries, and gained back about 35 of those pounds. My doctor says she's not concerned as my revised eating has made such a positive difference in my overall health and all my blood work is still looking fantastic! But I'm facing major surgery to correct an issue with my jaw so wanting to start meal prep to maximize budget, convenience and nutrition! Glad I found you!

I’m interested if this is all good quality protein though. I heard from another KZbinr who walked around Costco talking about “healthy snacks” that the protein in these snacks isn’t metabolized the same. I mean I’m sure it’s better than eating Cheetos and if you need it to reach your health goals then it’s probably more beneficial
@JoeySuggs3 ай бұрын
Yeah I do agree with that because of the type of protein used your body may not absorb it as well👌

Gotta get a new pan, dude! 😅 Try covering the top when you’re cooking the eggs. It’ll cook the egg more and will make it a lot easier to make an omelette.
