I make a similar jelly (U.K.) dessert and add 10g chia seeds per serving. The reason it split was because you need the jelly to cool before adding in the yogurt, not enough to set but cool so it doesn’t split/separate the yogurt. It’s lovely and I have it most days. ☺️

I love that you pivoted a bit to high protein low carb. A lot of keto youtubers have been selling the lifestyle of eating all keto desserts and cream cheese and butter and almonds and pork all day, when protein still affects satiety and reduces calorie density while in ketosis and/or if you're not fully keto.

I make a pudding with 9-10gm sugar free jelly sachet mixed into 1 can coconut milk and 1/4 tspn gelatine. I divide it into 6 portions for work. It is nice to make the cocoa powder chocolate pudding and have it with a flavoured pudding. Oh yes, and making a lime one and a lemon one and then having one of each at the same time is very nice. I have also tried it with coconut cream (omit extra gelatine) which separates into two layers but is still nice. You could stir it several times as it sets. I haven't tried making this and beating them which I think would make a nice flummery.

I’m a newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic (2 years ) and 73 years old. I’ve lost 25 lbs on a low carb, high protein diet. I haven’t been able to lose anymore. But I’ve lost lotsa inches because I exercise daily. I can’t eliminate all carbs, because if I do, it affects my blood sugar. It’s a fine balance. I do mostly protein, so this is video is good to help give me some new ideas. I wish Thrive market was available in Canada 😢 I do have a couple of online keto companies to order, but because so many things are imported from USA, definitely very pricey.

The secret to the jello recipe is to first whisk the yogurt, then add the dissolved jello mixture to it slowly (one tablespoon at a time at first) and mix vigorously, this is called making a "liaison", Any milk product will curdle and separate if temperature is too high (like boiling jello), unless you make this 'liaison" first. Once it's all mixed, you then put the mixture bowl over another larger bowl with ice water to start cooling it, and keep mixing it slowly until you feel it's beginning to thicken a bit. Once you reach that point, take it off the ice water, quickly dry the bottom of the mixture bowl with a kitchen towel and you then quickly pour into the individual serving cups and refrigerate. If you don't do this (the ice water bit to cool it and allow to thicken slightly), they will still separate a bit inside the fridge. I had to ruin dozens of jello recipes to learn this. Doing it this way (liaison) will also avoid those little white specs, once the liaison is made, you get a silky smooth mixture.

Just wondering if it would help to toss the cinnamon and sweetener with the wet pasta before air frying.
@Lucinda_Jackson7 ай бұрын
Years ago I used to make regular pasta this way for snacks. I'd boil the pasta, drain, toss with seasonings in a big bowl and then bake. They weren't terrible. 😂 I did Italian with either Italian seasoning or just basil and both garlic powder and garlic salt - sometimes I'd add grated Parmesan from the green can. I made ranch using homemade ranch seasoning. I did cheddar using cheddar powder and some buttery popcorn salt. I did a spicy Buffalo one using Frank's hot sauce and salt, but now Frank's makes a powdered Buffalo seasoning that could be used instead. I did do cinnamon and sugar, but I wasn't really a sweets person, so mostly stuck with the savory. It should all work with Kaizen, too, I would think.

I think content creators are always trying to show different recipes for the sake of views because otherwise if someone eats the same foods everyday and prepares the same foods for every video , you would soon not have a channel. We all have our favourite meals/ snacks that we go back to time and time again, but it would be a boring uninventive show showing the same foods we eat to lose fat.

Many sellers don't ship to these states because of the amount of damaged products that they have to replace when they have shipped there.
