This was my favorite song when it came out. I was in high school. The 80's were probably the best decade for music. I remember our 9th. grade health teacher telling us that high school would be the best time of our lives. I thought he was full of it. Now I realize what he was saying. This song really takes me back. I can listen to music on my iPod anywhere but, I think I'll go sit in my truck and listen, right there in the driveway, just because. John, If you are reading this, it was great to you, Antoones and the boys on Sunday for the fundraiser, Rhode Island Rocks 4 HAITI. You still have all the gusto you have always had. We & you, are the class of 1969 , North Providence High. It was great for many of us there from our class, to see you perform. It looked more like the old days at Gulliver's in Smithfield, on Tuesday nights, 1973~ LOL Thanks for contribution to the concert fundraiser man-- it meant a lot to everyone.

I don't think the music industry did John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band right, saying that because he may sound a little bit like Bruce Springsteen, big deal.. I've heard enough of Bruce !!!! I Love John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band.... Come to Kentucky, I would Love to see you live !!!!!!!!

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. It’s my opinion that they are The Greatest of All Time. I sing Tender Years and bring people to tears and as a tribute to the Antunes I bought a sax and I will learn to play Tender years because it’s Real Music. I can’t believe the got so underrated. NYC Song and Dark Side. This was a Real Band. John I hope I meet you one day wherever you are up there. Your biggest Fan. J.A.H
