This is what music should be! Every word every note and tune you feel! And everyone of us here luv John and appreciated his music and if your from where I'm from! John may not have been from Mass but being our neighbor and from New England he was loved and respected by all here! I was only a little kid when my dad would throw this Album on from Eddie and the Cruisers but he had many of John's LPs also. My dad was a collector of records and sports cards! And he definitely supported the local boys like John. So this song means a lot to me and the best memories of time I spent with my dad before he passed in 89 I was only 14 then. Now I'll be 47 next week and this is still one of my favs to play out loud for others to all look at me and ask who or what is that. I just turn and shake my head and feel sorry for em!

I remember our 9th. grade health teacher telling us that high school would be the best time of our lives. I thought he was full of it. Now I realize what he was saying. This song really takes me back. I can listen to music on my iPod anywhere but, I think I'll go sit in my truck and listen, right there in the driveway, just because. Maybe I'll start with some Bob Seger. Then John Cougar... Yeah.

When the moon hung soft and low, Catchin' stardust in the light You held me closer and closer There was magic in the night A sweet love song, a melody that I still can recall Two young hearts filled with dreams To walk away with it all Whoa, whoa tender years Won't you wash away my tears How I wish you were here Please don't go, tender years A summer love, a beach romance Sought her kisses in the sand Two young hearts filled with fire Lost in never-neverland. Whoa, whoa tender years Won't you wash away my tears How I wish you were here Please don't go, tender years

Memories are something we all hold onto. Keep the GOOD ones. Let go of the Bad ones. Make room for the NEW ones.
