This was my favorite song when it came out. I was in high school. The 80's were probably the best decade for music. I remember our 9th. grade health teacher telling us that high school would be the best time of our lives. I thought he was full of it. Now I realize what he was saying. I road manage a band out of Jacksonville Fla and we just did a show with John And Beaver Brown Band...super super nice guys and "Tunes" on sax was a very very nice guy...and he played the shit out of that sax...awesome live band

John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. It’s my opinion that they are The Greatest of All Time. I sing Tender Years and bring people to tears and as a tribute to the Antunes I bought a sax and I will learn to play Tender years because it’s Real Music. I can’t believe the got so underrated. I miss the good real music, where music came from the heart and the music just sinks in deep in your heart, thats the kind of heart filling music I love...these songs will stay in my heart.. "ALWAYS"...I dont care much about todays crap.
