I dont think he is going to have the recruiting power he had while he was at Kentucky. Think about it... a big part of what hes sold to these kids in the past was KENTUCKY. That almost sells itself. Now I'm sure Calipari will still be successful recruitment wise wherever he goes however it ain't going to be what it was like while at Kentucky. If he does take the Arkansas job I believe he will be more focused on winning then going with the one & done formula.

We know he didn't come here to win one title and have to run out the back door to escape the mob but sometimes you just have to take the L and move on. I hope he can look back on his tenure at Kentucky as a success overall. He probably wishes he could have about 5 specific games and a couple roster/staff decisions back that backfired and his legacy would look entirely different but it is what it is.

Cal doesn't make in-game adjustments, he won't press, his teams have lacked defense, 7-footers don't play with their backs to the basket, and the list goes on and on. He should be honest with his players and tell them that they are not ready for the NBA and develop them instead of pushing them out the door. The UConn team that just won the championship used to be us, instead we are what we have become. It's a shame that Cal can't see the difference. UK teams shouldn't be losing 10 games every season. We had a great team this year that didn't want to play defense because there wasn't any discipline. I have heard that his assistants were lazy and players were losing NIL money because of it. Cal wanted to keep doing the same thing expecting different results.
