Another thing we need for audio. Is to have more than one audio source. And what I mean is that when you play Co-Op. You are still sharing the same two speakers. So if you hear something on the left. The other person will hear something on the left as well. But only one of you has something actually making noise on the left. So you turn looking for something. You find it. The other person turns to the left. And see's nothing. And get's killed from behind. Thumbs up if you agree.

"Everyone's brain worked the same way" Wow that is the dumbest, most ignorant comment i've heard in 2014 so far. PS: I'm glad my mind works different from yours because you sound really full of yourself Also, have you never heard of Daniel Tammet?? OBVIOUSLY NOT. Look him up, mr.smartass. Now you have scientific PROOF that not everyone's brain functions the same. Also look up left handed people and how their brain works different from most people. ALSO look up autism and how autistic brain works different from most people. Look up chemical imbalance, a hypothesis that explaims mental illness. A mentally ill persons brain works DIFFERENT from most people. Look up neuroplasticity and the fact that the brain CHANGES throughout life. Also look up genetic variation and the FACT THAT WE ARE GENETICALLY UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER. GET IT NOW???????????????????????? ....see what you made me do? waste all my valuable time - just to school some dummy online... Happy now? Even gave you a little rhyme at the end :)

But.. Im agree, there are few game than can do this, and that is a good job for developers.

While listening to John Carmack, a kind of superhero of his own, I just thought about all those workers putting high tech quads into consoles, the big apparatus to make all this entertainment pay off. When I think about such a billion dollar market what is actually the real cost of all this high end technique ? Which are the resources that where minimized by this fast growing development ? What will be its real impact in consuming visual entertainment in the future at least the next ten years ?

What I'm saying is that when playing Co-Op. We need to have the system have more than one way of getting sound delivered. Just like on PC. You can have onboard sound, sound card, and some usb headset's have a built in sound card. And you can choose which device to use to deliver you sound. We need games that can use more than one. Possibly for console's to allow usb headset's. And when you use them. The second player will be only using his device to deliver sound. And not sharing the onboard.
@dlakodlak11 жыл бұрын
Have you really seen anything on this system with comparable geometry and texture freedom? Because that was the focus of the tech. Anything can have any shape and can be painted in any way and you can see result of it everywhere in the game. The drawbacks are texture data streaming limitations (popping textures) and the fact that all stuff in the scene has the same resolution so close-up views suffer from relative low-res textures.

Personally, I think Kinect will be relatively niche until brainwave controllers are common place. Seems how it may take a while to go from distinguishing a button click to full motion on a brainwave controller, the Kinect could serve as a competent substitute to the Brainwaves being able to que a "jump", "shoot", or "select" function. Ultimately controllers that work through a direct feed to your brain is the ultimate goal for hands free.

"For your information Steam software has offline mode, so if you don't have an internet connection at the moment or it goes down, u can still play your games" You do know it not always offline mode, you do need to check in time from time. If I remember right its like 3 days(a week in some cases).. And developer's have the option to still put DRM on PS4 if they want. As for cheaper we would have to see, their talking about making the price $399.99. But you do get other thing for that $100.00.

LMAO at all the people misinterpreting what hes saying. When he says ''essentially the same'', he means in architecture, not power. We all know 100% that the PS4 has an absolute minimum of a 50% power advantage in the three key areas- CPU, GPU and RAM. But as a game developer, the two similar architecture's are going to make his job easier and thats what he saying.

You do realize what you're trying saying right? Basically you desire Speakers that can "theoretically speaking" Have the vibrations (which makes sound) move towards the left, intertwine themselves with the right so you're capable of hearing equally from both sides no matter where you are is improbable at this time partially because we haven't really confine our self with this technological process to find a solution to this problem. The alternative solution, simply put headphones.

Sony is currently making 300GB optical discs, they plan to have them finished by 2015. This is a clear indication that PS5 will have these 300GB discs, witch means ''digital-only'' is still a LONG way off because we'd need a 100TB harddrive with every console to fit games of that size on there.

Download speeds of gigabytes per second is not needed for streaming game. The issue isn't that the game would require so much as it is the fact that ISP's refuse to update their network due to cost compared to how much they would actually make from giving a better service.

Well, using a calculator, i've just added everything up, CPU(1.6 as you say), GPU(800mhz) and RAM(800mhz apparently, im still looking for confirmation) and this comes to alot higher than 2.75ghz. And when you take into account the 18 compute units on the GPU and the 8 cores on the CPU, then it starts to get a hell of alot higher.
