True that 60s 70s 80s country was good and different from 2000s but not all today's country music is crap , there is alot of still great stuff, you shouldn't be so closed minded

It may have something to do with him being a common man
@gordenscottfan31074 жыл бұрын
@Matt Beeman 100% correct, that is why singers like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry should thank their lucky stars some producer felt he could make money with them. Sure they can sing and write good songs but so can thousands of other good looking women it is the backing that always makes the star....for example Sam Phillips sticking with Luther Perkins guitar sound making Johnny Cash.

What a great singer and great man!!! You can feel a message in the song that rings in the heart and soul. It's the simple things and "common" things such as family and our homes where we should find joy. The true treasure in life is our love for one another and the love we receive from them and others....

Considering that I was introduced to Conlee in the 80s by my dad, and appreciate him so much, I can't even begin to imagine why any of those in the video would be stuffing their faces while he sings. Seriously, re-watch the video. I would be fixated on John and appreciating him while he's still with us.
