This is my 1971 140, so it predates me. Will be doing a complete rebuild, from frame up to include a complete teardown and rebuild of the engine.

Great work! I’m getting ready to do a 72, thanks for the info

Sadly, I am still working on this one, but should be done this year. So many other projects I've done since I started this one. Had everything done and then had to replace the engine. Oh well, old tractors, at least I had a few spare K321's. Thanks for watching.

Should be getting started with a 140 we have. Appreciate information you are posting as we do not have anyone near us that is familiar with these older machines

Well, I am very close to finishing this one, sadly it's taken way too long. Doing a complete teardown and rebuild is a ton of work, may not do this again🤣🤣. I'm hoping the final result is as cool as I hoped it would be. Thanks for watching.

@@FloridaDeere nice. It’s great to see some video when dealing with unchartered waters. Appreciate the content. Look forward to checking out your finished product.

@@Taxpayeroftherepublic It is the next thing I am giving any sort of time too. May be my last full restore. Even at the end here, there are so many little things I still need to do😒😒. But I will finish in the next week/month. Thanks for being patient with me.

Where did you get the rear hydro lines from. Looking to get some to replace hard lines on my rear setup

www.auxhyd.com/For-140-Tractors_c_8.html, I believe it was these guys, but I don't see the kit listed anymore. You could contact them and see if they still offer it. I will check my paperwork as well, but I'm 99.9% it was these guys because I remember them being in Florida and having to pay our state sales tax.:-)

@@FloridaDeere oh yeah I’ve bought a bunch of stuff from them. Lines for cylinders on my 54 plow for the 140, stuff like that. Lockout valve. But I wasn’t looking for that. Yeah I see the whole kit (just looked on their site). Wondering if they’ll sell just the hoses. I will contact them tomorrow

@@rickneubeck4706 Yeah, looking at their site, they sell just the plain hoses for lots of other things too and I imagine the early 300 series is basically the same kit with a different mounting bracket. Do you have a local hydraulics place you could get them from too? Bridgestone Hose Power is in the next town up and Ag Pro, our JD dealer sells them too.

@@FloridaDeere yeah I just started working at a Deere dealer. I’ll have to check. Haven’t ever asked them before even when I was just a customer buying parts. The hard lines work but are clumsy looking and bent and look weathered. If not I do have a hydraulic shop I can check out
