The auto steer makes it a lot easier for the operator to make sure everything that is going on with the equipment he is pulling is okay. It has been forever since I was on a tractor but trying to keep the tractor where it needs to be and checking to make sure you haven't had a problem with the equipment you are using after having been up 17 hours a day for a month or two is almost impossible.

What would happen if the tractors 🚜 didn't have the weights in front❓ Is it for better steering❓

Yes it keeps the front wheels planted so you can steer under power.

It's crazy that this would be considered a medium sized tractor. It's huge to stand next to it. Does this have the same engine as the 8 series?
@ChaseLandMgmt4 жыл бұрын
The 7 series is a 6.8L the 8 series is a 9.0L. We see more 9.0L through the shop, but we also see more of them in general.

That still looks like one rough ride! At least he's covering 50' at a time. Do they plant a lot of soybeans down there? I'm just wondering why they don't go into bean stubble like we do in Illinois. A lot less trash, and a smoother ride most of the time, ha ha!
@bigtractorpower4 жыл бұрын
Wheat follows corn and double crop soybeans are planted right behind the combine as it harvests the wheat. 99% of the soybeans here are double crop.
@dougschmitii61654 жыл бұрын
@@bigtractorpower thanks for the reply! So they don't grow beans normally without double cropping?
@jonesYxxc4 жыл бұрын
@@dougschmitii6165 Can you explain what double cropping means?
@stevepottschmidt29034 жыл бұрын
Double crop means the farmer plants a second crop on the same land in the same season. Using this farm as an example, they plant winter wheat in the fall to be harvested in June. This is early enough in the summer to plant a second crop of soybeans on the same field. They then plant corn the next year. They use a 2 year rotation for the acreage they farm.

That driver Jason don't know he's born, a fridge in the cab, I use to drive an old Massey Fergusson 65 and some days we would hug the exhaust until it burnt our coat just to get warm, and our chain harrow's were rolled up on the back of a trailer, sometimes when you rolled them off the back of the trailer, they caught onto your overcoat you'd go off with them, thank God for technology. Great video, God Bless stay safe Regards Kevin Fox,England Essex.

Mr big tractor i would like to ask does your government help farmers to buy equipment or you have to pay it all by yourself
@biggamehunter91384 жыл бұрын
The farmer has to pay for it themselves, if and when the government gives farmers subsidies or grants it’s either money for the product they sold because prices are really bad or in the case of a grant it would have to be for something that is going to help the farmer have less of a negative effect on the environment, such as erosion

From the way he is bouncing in that seat that harrow isn't doing a very good job.. My uncle would fire you if he's bouncing like that
@bigtractorpower4 жыл бұрын
The harrow is behind the tractor smoothing our the bounce so drill tractor and seeder do not bounce. The tractor doing what it’s supposed to getting the clods left by the disk smoothed out. It’s a bouncy job.
