I'm 70 years old, and I will never, ever get tired of listening to our legend Farnsey. I've listened to him every day for over 50 years, since he first started his singing career, and I'll continue listening to him every day until the day I die. I've been to dozens of his concerts throughout those years, too, and have loved every second of them. He is a master entertainer and the best singer I've ever heard. Thank you for the great reaction. Our John Farnham is truly the GOAT!!!!

John Farnham is an Australian legend. This song could be the mantra for anti gun violence in America. “We’re not going to sit in silence, we’re not going to live in fear “. Listen up America.

I love, love, LOVE your reaction - your expressive face and beautiful smile. I had the privilege of seeing this concert when the tour came to Brisbane (Brissie). I was sitting side on to the orchestra, and it was hilarious watching them - it was a delight to see how much fun the muso's had with this concert! John always over-delivers, but this was next level. I didn't sleep that night, and I was on an endorphin high for days. I've only just found your channel and have subscribed, and am about to explore your back catalogue. Thanks again - I think this makes you a fair dinkum honorary Aussie, mate.

Hey Shakes you missed the mic stand toss just after the bagpipes, he throws it 20 feet in the air and catches it one handed then tosses it over his shoulder like a piece of garbage and never misses a beat in the song. True showman. Great reaction thanks.

Here is a cut and paste about John, and his friends Olivia Newton John (ONJ), Jimmy Barnes, Anthony Warlow. You might like to check out the YT reactions in the Australian Playlist for HELP and others on THE THAMESMEN YT channel. Started in 1967 with SADIE THE CLEANING LADY kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4vIg6Cmq6ide9k and went on from there. Close friend of Olivia Newton John who he worked with in Australia from time to time. When she died, he cried all day. This is a great one from the concert with the *Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (M.S.O.)*: IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP IF YOU WANT TO ROCK N ROLL kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWS7kK2Vr7xnick Also same concert: YOU’RE THE VOICE with M.S.O. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJ6VnpJvis6dqdE Also same concert: HELP (Beatles) with M.S.O. This is good too - the 2.5 hr concert with ONJ and our Phantom, from *Phantom of the Opera* (Anthony Warlow):- THE MAIN EVENT kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5WQhoaHecpsmsk Another good one with Jimmy Barnes WHEN SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY BABY (concert version with Diesel (Jimmy’s brother in law and formerly from the US) kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4bCk3aZnamKfJY Same song, studio version in restaurant with Diesel: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5nWl6tngdqigcU GETHSEMANE from *Jesus Christ Superstar*: (reaction video) kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2qXXqqHirFnjq8 John Farnham & The Sydney Symphony Orchestra - Live At The Sydney Opera House (2006) 1 hour 49 mins kzbin.info/www/bejne/q57ZeoKHmMamnJo The statistics of the CLASSIC JACK LIVE concert in 1989 are all on this: www.discogs.com/release/6714435-John-Farnham-Melbourne-Symphony-Orchestra-Classic-Jack-Live If you really like this concert, you can purchase it still on DVD or CD. It is the CLASSIC JACK LIVE concert. It may be available in your country but in Australia it is on www.sanity.com.au, ebay.com.au, or Amazon.com.au. *FINDING THE VOICE trailer*: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqDGdJmZarV-qKc His biography is a movie about to appear in the Australian cinemas. I saw it on 14th May at a special screening. You can purchase the CD and DVD via www.sanity.com.au Olivia features in the movie and admits John is her favourite singer of all time. In the biography movie they show him singing YOU’RE THE VOICE in front of 100,000 screaming fans in West Germany just before the Berlin Wall was brought down. He is now 74 years old, and sadly went through a 12 hour operation for throat cancer losing part of his jaw back about the same time his dear friend Olivia died in August 2022. He lost Liv and his best mate, his manager Glen Wheatley to ‘COVID’ (LOL, if only they knew) within that time frame of a few months. Glen was 74 too. He used to be a guitarist in Master’s Apprentices. Pic of Glenn and his actress wife Gaynor - resources2.news.com.au/images/2008/05/19/va1237308441554/Glenn-Wheatley-6045629.jpg Pic of John and Glen - they were like brothers - images.perthnow.com.au/publication/C-5529301/5a7e8b99b65d133ff7a7207862d60d13f8f7e02f-16x9-x0y119w1800h1 013.jpg?imwidth=1200 *A bit on John (Australia’s former King of Pop)* - Born in the UK in 1949, came out when 10 to Melbourne Victoria, Australia. It’s the same sort of history as Olivia Newton John, who was born in the UK in 1948 and came out when 5 to Melbourne. Both worked in the industry in Melbourne in the 1960's and eventually Olivia ended up back in the UK and then the US. John became the King of Pop with the 1967 hit ‘Sadie the Cleaning Lady.’ He was in the LITTLE RIVER BAND. John had his chances to work in the US but wanted to live in Australia. Queen wanted him to replace Freddie Mercury, but he declined. www.smh.com.au/entertainment/john-farnham-asked-to-join-queen-report-20030804-gdh7j9.html *Jimmy Barnes (Australia’s former King of Rock)* was born April, 28 1956 in Glasgow, Scotland. His original name was 'James Dixon Swan' and his father was a featherweight boxing champion in Glasgow. In 1961/62 his family moved to Australia. After playing in a school band (he replaced Bon Scott (who joined AC/DC) as lead vocalist in the band Fraternity. Then, aged 16 and a half, he joined Cold Chisel in 1973. First they played the pubs of Adelaide, then they played the pubs of Australia and finally they got a record contract in 1976. Now, Cold Chisel are Australian history - one of the best bands Australia ever had. They split up in 1983 because they thought they weren't playing good music anymore and they didn't want to rip their fans off with another album. Here's another jam with Jimmy Barnes and the late Michael Hutchence INXS 'Good Times' Live kzbin.info/www/bejne/iprQqX-FjJ5laNE

You have to wonder, don't you? The Australian music industry, hang your heads in shame, here's a guy who is so obviously extremely talented yet the so-called elite of this country refused to play this guy's songs. Thank god for Glenn Wheatley (RIP) and his wife and family because they financially risked everything for John Farnham, and by doing so Glenn stepped on a few toes which is why I said you have to wonder when Glenn Wheatley was convicted of tax fraud or as I like to put it singled out from the heard, made an example of and jailed for 15 months. What I want to know is whether was he being made an example of tax fraud or daring to challenge the so-called elite of the Australian music industry.
