john frusciante is the last living musician who can make me weep for the beauty of humanity and the tragedy of life with just his glorious singing voice and his virtuosic guitar strumming. Almost sad that most people will only known him as RHCP's gifted guitar player and not as one of the deepest, most sincere, and most humane songwriters and artists of our lifetime. There is no irony in his art, only beauty and an ocean of feeling. To sing like that is a gift.

He's not always happy, and being intelligent doesn't mean making yourself happy. He feels, his fans feel, he adores the fact that his fans feel his music. As a musician the best thing in the world is your fans singing along with you. You can't imagine how that feels until you live it. I think John knows the reaction that he would have from the crowd if he embarks on an acoustic tour. I think he don't want that monumental attention. It's so so so sad. I really hope that someone makes him change his mind and makes him realize that all the continents wants him to play his songs

@9:15 The audience singing, "Come back, Come back, Come back, Come backkk!🎶 is really everything you can ever hope for playing live. Really beautiful. This (string of 6 solo albums basically saved my life) whatever that's worth.

John doing Jack Bruce's evocative voice on "we're going wrong". Brilliant...not enough Cream covers these years. Cool one. The whole set is soulful.

What I would give to see this man live...I've seen him with the band but it's not the same. I'd love to see him play Ramparts, Murderers, and Mascara especially.
