When you swear oaths yes it makes you a rat, when your locking up friends and family members some to life in prison who've done nothing like Gravano did. Hell Gravano off the books killed an innocent 16 year old kid Alan Kaiser who'd only just turned from 15 years to 16 a couple of weeks before Gravano murdererd him. Gravano now tries to smesar this innocent kid who was only guilty of being in the wrong place at the wrong time what a low life. he also now claims it was he who did all the planning to kill Paul Castellano. On a side note Frank Locasio died in prison last year but was not convicted of not even one murder just racketeering and refusing to break the oath he'd taken, if he'd not stood alongside its unlikely he'd have even gotten 10 years but his word of oath mattered more so the Feds went for the serial killer with who within a few years thanks to getting to keep his millions, gain a new identity was a massive drug dealer threatening others with murder in the mid west. Remember your not forced to join La Cosa Nostra, all Gravano proved is that someone can join, act the gangster but are really loyal only to themselves be it the mafia, the military. army when you swear an oath it means something. Gravano murdered 19 people and got a sweetheart deal. FBI agents now admit they told Gravano they just wanted Gotti and recognised that he out of the 3 of them was loyal only to himself and anything that benefited him financially, he was basically a plastic gangster. laughably most of the tapes were Gotti talking about the realisation that Gravano was murdering solely for his own self gain and his willing to lie to defend his murders. The Feds were willing to give a mass serial killer, many pof the murders unsanctioned by the mob would have used the devil to convict Gotti bt this stage. Even the cops and feds sat whilst they use informants and rats they have zero respect for them whilst those willing to do the time for their criminal acts get a little respect whilst rats enjoy the money until their caught then they'd sell out their own mothers to save their own skin. Also as John Gotti' jr's later trials proved a near decade later when his defence brought in sound experts from the entertainment industry they proved a lot of splicing of tapes to make supposed conversations sound far worse than in actuality they were, to removing only parts of the background sound that made it sound worse equally tapes could be scrubbed and spliced into an innocent conversation. No one was aware of this in the 1980's and much of the 90's.as it was still fairly new. Making law courts political is not a thing in pretty much most if not all other western countries that are far more democratic with far less corruption. We know American prosecutors fairly commonly lie and withhold evidence or anything thst can hurt their case and when the defence can be dodgy they can do it too. Rudy Guiliano has been shown to be a massive liar and grifter and this is the guy trusted to act for the state not his political advancement, sorry mayor Guiliani.

the judge denied him his council of choice because his lawyer was taking money under the table and was caught on wiretaps doing so, hence, he could* be called to testify since he was doing shady illegal shit too. go find the wiretap as evidence - gotti never shut up so it's easily found on youtube EVEN THAT!. the same lawyer by the way who says the mafia never existed today, who thought he was hot shit and tried to punch a child for wearing a hat in not a nice place, but a shitty diner. what evidence of gravano lying? i can tell you know nothing about anything already. they are all liars, that's what mafia life is, double-wheeling and dealing. but gravano didn't have to lie, there was already enough evidence against them both. and they were only there because of gotti's mouth on the tapes so if he kept his mouth shut this would never have happened. you're a fool bro, ill wipe the floor with you.

I know right. Federal court documents are public records, and easy to look up. The tapes almost didn't make into evidence. As they were presenting them to the judge. To be put into evidence to use against the 3 of them. Because of how un audible the tapes are. Wonder why john was so positive. When he was telling sammy. They dont have anything on the tapes. Wonder why the feds had to flip sammy. Also the feds had to remove the bug. Over a year before they were indicated. Because john found out about the bug. Also the feds had bugs, and wiretaped. Sammy's nightclub and office trailer. Way before they bugged the apartment. They also say sammy feared. If he didn't cooperate. He would be killed in jail. I wonder what sammy said on those tapes. That were never shown, or made public records. Even to this day.. I really believe the feds. Used whatever was said on the wiretaps, and bugs. They had in Sammy's business's to flip sammy.

What bothers me about this whole thing is that Sammy was a serial killer amongst everything else. He did all this dirt all of his life but as soon as he was faced w/ hard time, he folds like a chair & destroys even more lives by sending all of his friends & family members to prison. He should’ve done his time like a man. Then he does a little time & goes into the witness protection program. Now he’s a KZbinr making money about all the murders & crimes while the others are locked up or dead.

I'm not sticking up for Sammy I think he is a worm but you clearly don't know what you're taking about Sammy was arrested for a double murder in the 70's and faced life he didn't roll he was also charged in a Tax evasion case that could of put him away for life and he didn't roll. As far as Sammy being a serial killer Sammy only killed two people with his own hands like Gotti he gave orders to kill people he didn't do it himself. Sammy simply stayed true to those that stayed true to him. Why remain loyal to a half brain puppet boss that was caught on wire taps ranting to lower ranking members about you? Gotti was two faced and would kill anyone in a heartbeat that talked subversively about him. Sammy couldn’t kill Gotti in jail so why not turn on him? Stay true to Gotti😂 So many members from other families wanted this asshole dead and several members of his own crew flipped on him. The smart ones don’t do time. The dumb ones that get caught deserve to rot in jail.
