The "Original Black Gangsta"...Rappers and other wanna-be fame shitbags aren't even 10% as talented and COOL as this old man... love the slick suits and hats he used to wear... BB King, the big man...loved his colorful suits too.... these old men played guitar like they were breathing air - these hero's are gone and they will never be replaced...ever...

each genre got its own ups and downs, you can't just say that there's no talent like him for example: the NWA brought on the height of hip hop culture with rap music depicting reality, it's not just a dumb ass beat and meaningless lyrics though I do agree that music now is 95% trash with generic beat and even more generic lyrics accompanied by braindead "artist"

What artists like the late JLH must think of concerts where you pay money to listen to lip syncing cardio workouts. 😂😆🤣 Paying money to watch someone dance around mouthing their music like it’s live. Karaoke singers are more respected at bars. Then there are the lazy money grabbing nostalgic acts like Motley Crue where Vince sings gibberish for 12 seconds then holds the microphone towards the crowd for them to sing the rest of the song. 😆. Man I’m paying to watch you not listen to the crowd. So sad. Props to the rap artists and other rock acts who don’t condone this or lip sync.

Where elvis Presley got his style in the early years black rythm and blues elvis just sang it faster which became a new sound called rock n roll 1956 elvis as a kid grew up in tupelo Mississippi as a very poor kid he would sneak to a area that was not good for a white boy to be he would watch the black men play and sing the blues that was the very beginning of elvis Presley lol
Let us all honor the man by not fighting, arguing or tearing another artist down....... Please remember, ALL music from "people of color" was considered trash, satanic and worse; including JLH's. Even though, without compensation was appropriated (STOLEN), copied, and profited off of! LET'S ENJOY THE MUSIC!
