It’s crazy and not that Philly fans are gonna really complain, but the year Kobe is coming out Philly has the number one pick and doesn’t think for a second to draft him. I’m sure the fans were happy with Iverson, but they would’ve definitely been better off with Kobe.

During the 2011 lockout season, John Lucas III played a game at my school (Baruch) versus Kevin Durant and a few other NBA players as well. At that point seeing the level of talent that NBA players had was crazy. This dude scored like 60 points was crossing dudes up, hitting jumpers from everywhere and mind you this is a guy who Isn’t even in the regular rotation. Levels.

OH MAN, i remember my first year in Shanghai, someone told me hey you know there is a pro basketball league here. i was like oh cool / and dude was like but yo, there is this little guy, little black guy dropping like 40 points each game. I was like yeah??? I somehow found out about the league on the chinese internet and saw the name JOHN LUCAS III(40.53... points something% a page). I was like OH SHIT that must be john lucas's son(iwas raised in houston) and whent to their next game. The first 3 he shot was right in front of me and i stood up with the 3 point old school sign as it swished in him on the other baseline looking straight at me. We made eye contact and everytimeid come to the game they would put on a show. There was this jordanese player #23 that was ballin too. DUNKIN on everyone. They took it straight to the chip game that year and i hat tickets. OFC! but somehow universe had different plans, and i had a business opportunity. I didnt make the game. AND they lost by like 2-3points in the championship as i watched the last 8min or something by coincidence when i got home, someone had the tv on and i guess it was big news/game. I watched as they broke down on some wack free throw bounce. Smoosh was on the other team. I always felt if i was at that game they would have won it all.
