04:15 Why John Malkovich considers himself not political
05:17 Can the acting skills of President Zelensky help during the war
07:07 Roles of villains like Harvey Weinstein. Would John Malkovich play Vladimir Putin or Stalin?
00:11 Russians are either villains, or gangsters, or oligarchs. The role in the “Billions” drama series
12:51 “Russian culture is made up of many things. And most of them don’t particularly have a lot to do with the political leadership at this point in time.”
14:28 “History is the sum total of all the things they’re not telling us”
15:57 “Burn after reading”: the world is ruled mostly by chaos, and a lot of stupidity and greed. And a lot of incompetence.
18:18 Will the ongoing war change art and cinema? The West is too self-contained.

The interviewer is a typical brainwashed 21st century European, who grew up without a 1st amendment, and without the capacity to originate any thoughts or opinions of his own. A paradigmatic "NPC." Tragic. His intellect is dwarfed by Malkovich's to such a degree that you have to feel sorry for him.

At certain parts of the interview, the interviewer doesn't follow what Malkovich is saying....because - yes what is the truth?! Unfortunately, the truth is in the perception and more dangerous - in the hands of the power. Incredible mind and a wisdom, Mr. Malkovich.

Holy Shit ... under 9000 views in 4 months.... So the first time i watched this channel was yesterday. Iy was the interview with Robert Sapolsky. I have huge Respect for What Sapolksy has done both as a researcher and professor. I've literally watched about a dozen of his ""Stanford" lectures and i'm certainly smart for it. He has always shown his left leaning bias's. That being said he never seemed to let it dictate his science or scholarship. but in the interview he talks ABOUT STUDY'S BUT DOESN'T CITE A SINGE ONE. That's a real problem. there is a reproduction problem in science. Many of these peer reviewed white papers that have been published are shit. upto 50 percent of them are shit. Do i trust his science, absolutely. Do I trust the science he says other people have issued not at all.. Now From just the intro i think i'm really going to love this interview .. I don't give a fuck what actor think... I love their art.. not their scholarship.. But hey nothing like having respect for the actor and the mind of the actor .. I doubt John Malkovich cares what people think about his opinion's .. maybe about his art.. we will see ..as a fan i'm still interested in his thoughts

A very interesting man. Can't help but find him engaging. It appears, however, that his position in life as a much-revered actor of the edgy-arty sort has insulated him from the fearful, dire political straits that we are in. He has an Olympian detachment, conveniently taking his ease in Olympian cloud-cuckoo-land. From the comments, it appears that many dare not apply critical thinking to what he says, lest they appear uncool.
