John Mayer - Simmering (Belief Demo)

This is a pretty rare find. The quality isn't too bad either. I love the lyrics to this version. I think it's really cool to see how a song evolves, kind of like In Repair with "One Song, One Day."

Anna Johnson have you heard Lenny/Man on the Side from Any Given Thursday? He was planning on playing The Wind Cries Mary after Lenny, but said he felt Man on the Side more. That's a beautiful thing when a musician can be so fluid as to change his/her setlist so spur of the moment. Amazing.

I was at one of the first live shows where he debuted this years ago, and I remember loving it, and then when Belief came out I was like, crap he changed all the words..I love both songs, but this one holds a special place in my heart just because I heard it in the beginning live.

This just goes to show that not everything you create has to come out perfect. It really takes guts to question your own piece of art and ask for what it needs to evolve to its best self and do it. @mickoallen A very small distance of musical notes.. Like the difference between 350Hz and 349Hz. Can't really explain it too well in English anyway =P. But to be honest, there's no singer who sings perfectly clear on the right notes, it's always some 'millitones' higher or lower than the note it should be sang on. Like.. 1Hz to 10Hz difference (just my estimate).
