Rest In Peace, John!! I need to share my Facebook post, as I never knew John, but he meant a lot to me: The fitness world lost a prominent figure yesterday. John Meadows did more for bodybuilding than perhaps anyone. The public heard of Arnold, but John created many videos, showing young and old alike how to train smarter and also improve nutrition and mindset regarding many things in life in general. This “Meadows Row” back exercise is for you, John!! Thank you for answering all my questions and being such an important figure in the fitness world. I never met you personally, but I think a lot of us feel as if we did!! You really helped me develop my physique and I will continue learning from you hopefully many years to come!! Rest In Peace!!

@arthurmabeejr87523 жыл бұрын
I have to agree 110% with Mr. Fouad Abiad & Mr. John Meadows, the positives out weigh the trolls when it helps someone in particular. I'm a big fan in bodybuilding, I see many athletes in football, basketball and powerlifting just keeping things under their hat. This is the one true sport where everyone helps each other, something you won't see in other sports. I will be 59 in one more day on December the 13th, and I have grown tremendously from listening and applying it to my life, what both of you do and say are more than beneficial to my health. I'm also a very religious person, I pray for not just those I know but, I pray for all, we try to give people better examples in life, if it was not for guys like you both, we would be hurting big time!!!! I truly believe this with all my heart and soul, when I found out Mr. John Meadows heart issues my heart sunk, I said no please help him Lord, So I talked to my wife because she seen tears in my eyes....She asked me why??? What's wrong, did I do something wrong? I said no! I explained how I felt about Mr. John Meadows, she told me right now we are going to pray for him, she still asks me everyday how Mr. Meadows is doing? When, one of us down or got an issue, we are to pray for them, uplift them in a positive way, show them love, and patience, I am truly blessed by you both, by giving us honest facts, showing us that we need to pay attention. I'm also very blessed because I am able to still workout 6 days a week, I only take Sunday off. The message here is: It's just the same as winning souls, if you can help just one person or win one soul for Christ sake, you will be blessed that much more. Even though I never met either one of you in person, I can honestly say: you both are truly a blessing in my life, I do exercises that keep pressure off my joints at my age, I am lucky as I never had one injury, it because the message you both deliver and give to us, God Bless you both!!!!!! I have to agree with Mr. John Meadows, and I would take it a step further as far as wanting to compete again Mr. Fouad Abiad, you have to look at this one important point and hopefully you will? 1). The Heart is a muscle, The Kidney is an organ, these 2 are two different things, they function differently. The more you work the Heart, the stronger it becomes, is there any exercise that can make the Kidney stronger? No! not directly or indirectly, our Kidney's are made to do different functions. So, my answer would be no it's not wise to compete again, since we do know how stressful it is do prep for a show? There is a passage that is in the Bible famously put there by King Solomon, In the book of Kings, this verse says: The white lining is a strength when function correctly, when broken it dies....This is also known as the "Vagus Nerve" it's the white lining that starts in the center part of the body and goes throughout the entire body, over the brain, and all the way down to the feet as well. So, my answer to this is.....It's ok to push yourself to an extent, competing again would definitely be a no go! I realize how much you want this, I never even stepped on a bodybuilding stage, I wanted to for years. I was never good enough in my mind, I worked out like a bodybuilder, I ate and slept the same way, of course I was always natural. I am currently on TRT, I hate it though because my wife has to give me a shot every 2 weeks. I still train hard with no medical problems. other than low T, the low T does not interfere with my system though. So, my message is this Mr. Fouad Abiad, why not just train your body accordingly, not compete but, you can still progress and lose weight if you desire that, there is goals you can still achieve without competing???
@FouadAbiad3 жыл бұрын
I am monitoring everything with a kidney specialist. I am going to continue training as I like with precautions. When he says it’s too much, that’s when I’ll stop.
@arthurmabeejr87523 жыл бұрын
@@FouadAbiad I agree, this is a good thought! I just want to see the best for you, you have to make that decision. I would do the same, you just have to look around with your family, is it worth it? The main thing is being smart, plus make good decisions. I push myself very hard, even my doctor tells me I am doing too much, however I have always done this, being almost 59 is not a mistake, plus my doctor tells me my macros, minerals, protein, and all of my labs are in the top even for someone that is 20 years old. I feel better when I'm more active and pushing hard, I do step over the line, I watch my joints, then I recover. I must be doing something correct? I'm not bragging by any means but, who is going to do this for me, these decisions I make always helped me. This is one good thing about being retired from the Army, yes I can take the time for these decisions, I can afford the time because my health depends on it. I want to grow old with my loving wife, she is the center of my spirit, means so much to me. I also believe this whole heartedly: We one day will be judged according to everything we say and do, in particular to others, so God is in the center of mine and my wife's life. I'm not perfect by any mean, we all fall short.

Nice interview!. The best thing you can do for your heart is cardio or aerobic activity. Weight training doesn't help much with CV fitness. Large reason is the decrease or no change in stroke volume with acute resistance resistance training. So even it is improves CV, it very minimal relative to aerobic activity.

As a younger person(20) I think it is important for top guys like Fouad and the guys he has on to be transparent about health. I've always been into the science of stuff so I've been more conscious of the health side of things when it comes to starting AAS etc. However, many of my friends have not been... When young guys won't do the research the best thing they have is when the top guys are telling them to BE CAREFUL.
