John Mulaney sits down for a chat with his bestie Pete Davidson, and talks about his recent struggles with addiction and stint in rehab.
Comedian Pete Davidson has a weird life. After moving back home to Staten Island, he struggles to deal with unfortunate family news, all the while trying to maintain his career, relationships and mental health in an increasingly surreal and heightened world of his own making. Described as a "heightened fictionalized version of Pete Davidson's life," the series has been compared to Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Edie Falco stars as Pete's mother, Joe Pesci portrays his grandfather, and a diverse roster of guest stars, including Jon Stewart, Sebastian Stan, John Mulaney Steve Buscemi, Jane Cutain, Machine Gun Kelly and Al Gore, appear throughout the episodes.

When chaos is your normal, calm feels like chaos. Rewiring your brain and creating secure attachments takes a lot of time and energy. What's wild is living a life controlled by drugs isn't easy either. Neither path is easy. One of those paths can actually lead to a fruitful future. The other is an early and sad death.

they were living apart for a year before he filed. He immediately filed for divorce because he should have filed 3 years before. Nobody gets divorced because the relationship is fantastic and healthy. He was in and out of inpatient care and relapsing for two at least two years before the divorce. They didn't have a marriage. This was 3 years ago and people are still trying to make something out of it. It's weird man.

It's sad to see such talented men think that having a daily crisis is the only way to walk thru this life. It's a sign that their spiritual soul needs some life and the "crisis" is there to make them feel alive in the meantime. My hope and prayer is that these men and all celebrities find objective truth, surrender to It on It's/His terms and not their own and then walk in the purpose and meaning they were born to live...without the drugs, daily crisis and need for chaos. Peace comes with purpose...life comes with meaning...freedom comes from Truth. God bless~
