This is how a kid misses the point of the dad's challenging his lack of action- the kid believes the father was accusing him of taking part in the bullying. The kid maintains he had nothing to do with it. The father never picked up on how the kid is thinking he's being accused of also picking on Tyler and keeps pushing ideas , making the kid think the father doesnt believe his account that he was not a part of the incident. Both parties get aggrivated believing the other wont aknowledge their own seemingly simple point. A brilliant bit and one of my favorites!
