@sethescopeАй бұрын
@@asdfasdfuhf inherent criticism is, in my opinion, when the fact someone needs to ask at all is a criticism of you/your character/etc. let me give you an example: asking JD Vance "did you fuck that couch?" is inherently a criticism because it shows he isn't the kind of person who definitely wouldn't engage in sexual behavior with a piece of furniture. the fact that we need to ask at all says a lot about the kind of person he has shown himself to be

How to tell that someone is a genuinely happy person: when all the wrinkles on their face directly correspond to the creases when they smile. Colbert always comes off as a perpetually happy and joyous individual and incredibly satisfied and at comfort with his life and very few people light up the way he does when he laughs and/or smiles. This "extreme close up" proves how real his joy is. Every wrinkle, especially around his eyes, is EXACTLY where his face creases when he laughs/smiles. This is the face of a man who loves being alive and has spent his life laughing his ass off. : )

@AbhijayPaul6 жыл бұрын

@EpyonRules6 жыл бұрын
From the audience's perspective, the camera in the box is at the back. There needs to be a hole there to toss the mints in, after all, and the front of the box is where the money (and the logo) is, so the hole needs to be at the back.
@sprybug6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they broke the 180 photography rule, which is why everyone got disorientated on their position. The outside angle shows them on one side, and the inside angle is completely flipped, which is a no-no. However, I totally understand why they did it. They needed to conceal the camera on the other side of the box on the long shot, so I forgive them. :)
@jetsamperes57626 жыл бұрын
This is what we call "crossing the axis". Never cross the axis. Unless you're in a cardboard box.
@afterthesmash6 жыл бұрын
@sprybug @Jama I'm pretty think I saw a cut crossing the axis in two separate movies that I've watched recently (both of which moved from an outside scenery shot of a cute, isolated farm house, to an inside shot of said cozy farmhouse): one was _Capote_ and the other was _Looper._ Thus I conclude that 600 square feet of a visually neighbourless 1910 Midwest reliquary also qualifies for the crowded-conditions cinematic switcheroo. _Interstellar_ was big into this trope, too, but that farmhouse was more of a sprawling affair, plus it would probably look bad to mangle simple camera work while you're so conspicuously abusing the fourth dimension.
