Thanks Joseph. It is great song that allowed John to leave this life with a big burst of pride and love. I think it is one of his absolute best songs and it speaks so beaurifully of his live. You did a very nice job of it as well when you covered it on his birthday of last year. By the way did you see my comment on your very first video covered some 9 years ago? I sent it the other day. Yes, just thought I'd give it a try to see if the presentation of my covers might be a little better in guitar sound and voice delivery. Didn't note much difference 😂 but I might experiment a little longer. Ha! Thanks for being a loyal listerner and subscriber.

I've enjoyed checking out your channel and your choices of songs to record. I went to the John Prine concert here in Springfield, MO on May 18, 2019, before he passed in 2020. I enjoy your comments about the songs you record.

Hello RC, what a pleasanat surprise it will be to explore your channel. I am glad you took time to respond to my John Prine cover. I also appreciate your liking my comments. I have tried to do that over the last couple of years. I must say, I sure wish I had the guitar skills you have. Just great. I can in no way play with that skill. I'm just an old strummer with a basic finger picking styple just like my profile says. For me, I just greatly enjoy singing and strumming. It is such a joy. I plan on digging into your channel in more depth here shortly, especially after hearing your excellent rendition of "Save the Last Dance For Me", a song I just covered the other day, although after posting I discovered the guitar was pretty much out of tune just like John Prine says in his great song "I Remember Everything." Thanks again RC for visiting my channel.
