Yup! That game and sonic adventures was my first! What's even more special is we're all from South Dakota and my dad (a Minnesotan) made sure we were Vikings fans from day 1. The gameplay was unbelievable for its time and you bet my first times playing the game it was always throwing it to carter and moss. Still have my kid size cris carter and moss jerseys...oh and we had culpepper too ☝️😎☝️

When Randy goes to bed, there are no SB rings to take off. When Rice goes to bed, he has to take one off every finger of his right hand. Randy played for the greatest team in NFL history, and still lost that 2007 SB. Rice played for solid teams , that were among the greats, and won 4. Rice had superior numbers in a less pass-happy era. Rice will always be the GOAT. Rice nearly won a MVP in 1987 as a Receiver. Moss never got an MVP vote.

Well....I would say two.......Randy Moss and Gale Sayers, the best runner for me "ever". He was Mr. Excitement when he touched the ball whether it's kickoffs, punts or handoffs. You held your breath every time he touched the ball and a threat to score when he touched it. Further, he even got opposing teams fans excited. Shocked to see them clapping and cheering when he received a kickoff or punt and he didn't disappoint. Indeed Randy was great but so was Gale, the moves he made and the speed.......... Only played 5 seasons, cut short by a career-ending knee injury. But, his impact was so great on the game (no one up to that point had ever witnessed a runner like Gale) that he was "unanimously" elected to the Hall on the lst ballot. Wished Randy had played with Warren Moon, or even Brady in his career. His receiving records wouldn't be touched. The best I've seen.....

He's absolutely right you dolt. At the time Smith was a Pro Bowl caliber RB, Carter was one of the top NFL WR's and HOF bound, then they drafted Moss. So which teams had two top 10 WR's all-time, plus a Pro Bowl RB dummy? Nothing Smith said was wrong. Closest thing was 'Greatest Show on Turf' Rams. Although they had Marshall Faulk at RB, but Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce are a far cry from Carter and Moss. Also had Jerry Rice team up with Tim Brown at Oakland but both were already on their last legs.

@sydboski
@sydboski 6 жыл бұрын
Valentino Rossi Lol I lied? That's funny. You are a Lemming. You just follow everything they say. Did you know that being voted into the HOF has nothing to do with how fast you are? Did you know that these voters are regular people who write about football and are just giving thier opinion? Do you know speed is not an opinion? It is measurable and provable. I'll bet you are a Moss fanboy. Well sorry to bust your fanboy bubble, but it's no lie. Moss was NEVER the fastest player in NFL history, and not even in the top 15. Of course you won't take my word on this, so I will prove it to you. 1. Moss did not have world class speed. In order to be world class, you not only need the natural talent (which Moss had), but you also need years and years of sprint training. Moss never got that. It is physically impossible to get to world class without both. 2. Moss had a six yard lead and was run down from behind by Terance Newman a true 10.20 world class sprinter. Just KZbin " Terance Newman outruns Randy Moss" 3. There have been roughly 24-28 men who were actual world class sprinters that have played in the NFL. ALL of them were faster than Moss. Moss' best 100m dash was 10.96. Ok it was early in life. So we can give him credit for getting faster naturally. But without the benefit of sprint training, he could not run faster than say 10.5 maybe. And that's being generous. 10.5 would rank him in the mid to upper 30's in NFL history. 4. If you want to try to use the 40 yard dash as a mesuring stick. I'll tell you that the 40 doesn't measure how fast you are. It only measures quickness and partial acceleration. Because the really fast runners don't reach top speed till about 60 meters out. They are still accelerating at the 40 yard mark. So how can the 40 determine how fast you run if you are not running your fastest? It can't. But if you insist, Moss' hand timed 4.25 ranks him out of the top 10 also. You can Google "gridiron studs fastest 40". So now who's the liar? Lol.

There are a few other contenders but yeah it was a great team That Broncos team was great too though, for most of the season they were thought to be the best team in football

Under acheiver..kinda like the Vikings. He is lucky he had CC to mentor him. Now that he is grown up, bet he wishes he had not been such a butthead.

I remember that play against the Cowboys when the defensive backs had the angle on him, and he still outran them for the touchdown.. that and Bo Jackson’s touchdown run against the Seahawks on MNF was the fastest I’ve seen a player run in a football game.
