Nah Vlad don’t know bball. Telfair was NEVER that skilled as a ball player. He was the smallest player to come out of HS and he had a spotty jump shot. He was talented but not skilled there’s a huge difference. His best bet was to go to college for at least a year to develop some real skills then go pro. Talent will get you there but it won’t keep you there💯. He lost that Adidas deal bc he wasn’t living up to the hype and they didn’t want to extend him. Had zero to do with a street incident in which he was legitimately the victim. He knows that but doesn’t want to take accountability.

There’s a big difference in terms of maturity between drafting an 18 yr old versus a 23 yr old. Both are still very young, but the player in his 20s is more likely to have an adult mentality.

If the Euro league were treating players better, nobody would want to be in the NBA. There are lots of players from the US who play overseas, but it's definitely not their first choice. It's typically lower talent who can make a little more in Europe being one of the star players, vs being one of the worst in the NBA.
