Daddy im wet 0:06 Edit: Been living in OH my whole life - been to Norwalk a few times but have never witnessed this beast in person. Absolutely incredible. Back in the late 2000s there was a HUGE influx of DSMs in OH (especially us young kids) and I couldn't tell you how many motors we went through. We had a 2g in 2010 that was running under 10s on forged rods and trans swap with boreout(friends). As a kid I had no idea that you were most likely the cause. These cars will forever hold a special place in my heart. DSMs will forever be remembered. Can't wait to be 40 and hopefully be able to build one of these and be able to run it down the same track.

I could take a Small block V8 and instead of running 18 pounds of boost and making 1000 horse power I could run 80 pounds of boost and force all that air down its throat and make way more power then is tolerable for the engine, (Which is exactly whats happening to this Talon) and it would fail to run and sputter and back fire all the way down the track, just like this really cool Talon in the video. Whats so awesome about that, if you want to run 7s why not do it in a car that is meant to?

This is a very impressive car, 7 second talon vs 7 second mustang should show you what its capable of. Considering the original build with a turbo already on it (stock) is around 200hp. I would estimate him running over 1400hp as well. Then putting it to the ground is intense. Anyone who puts this car down needs to put up or shut up.

Number of cylinders really doesn't matter for power, maybe for longevity, sure. Lets not forget the turbo era of F1 wherein the qualifying tune had cars with around 1200 horsepower. They were only 1.5 litres...

Regardless he never made it down the track, Really cool I know. I know people with UNLIMITED money from New York. There are a couple of 600 HP STI's 750 HP EVO so on and so forth. They are ALWAYS broken. They have the best of the best in everything and use world famous tuners, they are always broken. My one friend has a build 91 Mustang LX, Supercharged 331 Stoker, makes 892 RWHP, eats those EVOs and STIs for breakfast, and when he's done he can drive it home and park it. Doesn't need a tow.

It has nothing to do with being a fan boy. It has to do with the fact that out of the dozen runs in the video, he can not get the car down the track. Either because the car shuts off or it can't hook up. Whats so cool about that? If the video was of the car, launching and making the full run down the track I would say nothing negative at all and actually be impressed. As far as being 14? Not quite. A realist? Yes. 4 cylinders are not meant to make that much power. PERIOD.
