The Lord bless you for posting this series. I had heard audio of our dear departed brother going through the Acts of the Apostles. It was such a blessing. Please consider posting that in the future. I have no doubt it will be received with joy by others.

Doctor Pastor R.C Sproul you are an imposter and a child of hell. You will perish if you do not repent from lying and stealing from the people of God

I love the collective sermons by Sproul. They're like a month-long feast. Are the Gospels of Matthew and John also available? I have already listened to the exposition on the Gospel of Luke.

According to the Hebrew Scriptures Father YAHweh had a PlAN in the beginning YAHchanan (John) 1-5. Everything is is going according to this awesome PLAN. May Father YAHweh bless your understanding and show you His Resurrected Son. Praise Father YAHweh.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. This passage from the Gospel of St. Mark is read every 3 years on The Second Sunday of Advent, which is from December 4-11. This passage, along with Mark 13:24-37, are the only two passages from Mark that is read during the Advent/Christmas Season. We don't see Mark again until January 7-13, which is The Baptism of Our Lord.

There’s no way John the Baptist could be dipping people in water as a sign of Jesus death and resurrection because Jesus hadn’t gone to the cross yet. And John certainly had no idea that was going to happen.

So I'm guessing you're a pouring/sprinkling proponent?
@aletheia80542 жыл бұрын
@@rockycomet4587 No. I think they were making procelytes.

@@aletheia8054 Okay, but you were making a statement about baptism, right?
@aletheia80542 жыл бұрын
@@rockycomet4587 haha. Yeah. They weren’t dipping people in water like the Baptist do today. They were doing what is called procelyte Baptism. It’s something they did at that time. The apostles continue to do it after Jesus but then they quit. What we do today by dipping people and water is not what they were doing.
@rockycomet45872 жыл бұрын
@@aletheia8054 Interesting take. So they were sprinkling?
