Walter Mirren I don't understand why classic rockers hire "wet behind the ears" nameless children to appear in their videos. John Waite is WAY WAY WAY above these emo children.
@waltermirren79579 жыл бұрын
I do not think it is the artists who make the decision in most cases. John Waite is a solo artist - his albums are full of brilliant musicians who might just be butt ugly. The studios hire pretty boys to appear in the videos. I could be wrong - I usually am - but that has been my experience.

+Walter Mirren Excuse me! You are ageist, but in the reverse! Luis Maldonado and Tim Hogan are both fine and experienced musicians! Luis even co-wrote "Rough and Tumble." Tim has been playing professionally since he was 15! I think both are at least in their thirties. In case you hadn't noticed, rock music was invented by young people, and so why SHOULDN'T they be included?! If these younger men help Mr. Waite bring in new, young fans, more power to him!

I do hospitality at an Illinois venue he has played several times,attended to his needs and yes,John is like a soul mate to me as wel.I met him even before I worked hospitality.As a fellow musician he has been a top five influence for me. I have had conversations him several times and yes,he is a kind and gentle soul......Waite's stuff is unparalleled in my opinion partly because it's from the heart and his vocal style makes it discernible which is not typical in Western pop or rock music.

My husband and I caught your show in Lodi, CA last June (2022). Don't know who was responsible for the PR, but they should be fired! The Grand Theater in Tracy, CA has been VERY successful for Y&T and 38 Special. I hope more bands/ artists come around. Best wishes, God bless! ✝️❤️

It may have been out awhile, but this song is still as lovely as ever. I think we all need to hear the 'sound of someone's voice who loves you' from time to time. Reminds me of a good friend of mine who was there for me when I was going through a rough time. He hugged me and was letting me cry on his shoulder. Then, he said 'See that tree, you are like that tree.' Just what every woman wants...to be compared to a tree! I had to stop crying and laughing, until I heard the rest of his words that comforted me. Hope that 'sound of someone's voice' does not start comparing you to a tree. Then again, maybe being compared to a tree is a good thing. For tree bark on the outside of a tree may be weak. On the inside, oak trees have especially strong hearts. Thus, they weather the elements. They weather the elements like each of us must from time to time. Thus, perhaps we are all trees..at some time, in some ways. That 'sound of someone's voice who loves you' may be giving the best advice you have ever gotten. :-) Thus, this song is lovely.
