Try Williams and the VPO (video here on KZbin). He himself said it's the best performance he's ever heard. He wasn't being big-headed, he was praising the VPO: absolutely superlative, and the rotary trumpets and Viennese horns proved their superiority over the Anglo-American instruments also. What technology they just stole shit from the empire and improved them a little it also makes no sense for the losing side of a war to all of a sudden re rally and be stronger then ever with somehow a death star 3.0 it would take a lot longer then 30 years to pull off just look a Germany they are still recovering from the loss 50 years ago they didn't come back with a new fuhrer and a super base. After lossing and even if they could re rally that fast as the Germans did after thyre first loss they wouldn't be full strength let alone in charge the new republic would be in charge and they would be back to where Sidioud was in ep1 hiding plotting not stong enough to make a move yet

It was around 1982, when I was about 13 years old when I realised that when Williams brings this back in during the closing credits, it's at the higher pitch and subtley different, "Victorious" arrangement that is essentially saying "Yeah... you can have your Main theme... your Force Theme and your Love Theme... but WE WON!" That was the moment when I realised JUST how important Willaims was to the Star Wars films
