I've been wearing good impact shorts for years after I broke my tailbone. I'm very surprised more people don't. It's saved me so many times since then.

@@yyumanager4709 yeah one of the worst pains and it took forever to heal. Ruined most of my season. Don't even chance it now and wear them every time. I hardly ever fall anymore but every once in a while catch an edge doing something stupid and the whip to the ground is killer. Some years back caught an edge with impact shorts and the bruise from my thigh to above my hip and took a long time to heal but can only imagine how much worse it could have been without the hip protector.

I wear impact shorts and if it’s proper cold, I’ll even toss on an impact shirt. I live in Jersey where the mountains are always just straight ice and I’m skinny af. Just sitting on the ice hurts let alone slamming on it.

I used to wear impact gear back in my competition days but my riding has always been toned down since then falls have been a lot less painful in fact this is the first fall in the last 5 years where impact gear would have helped

Backflipping Benton when I saw fall, I knew it was serious. From shredding mode to bummed, it was a one in a million fall from way up as you kinda ollied into it. Last year, thinking I still ripped like I used to now, at 47, I caught a simple heel edge on icy transition to next lift and trip was ruined. I toughed through day but was sore for 2 months and every turn hurt. People don’t realize how hard you guys are ripping, especially considering icy hard pack. One edge gone wrong and bam, day is ruined.

How are the prices for day passes that high? There are way bigger resorts in the alps and the most expensive ticket is may 90€ for like 300-400km of nice snow save runs. Normally you pay about 50€-60€ for the big ski areas, I don’t get it.

I got those goggles because of this channel. Grabbed two different lenses for different light and they work great. The design and anti fog coating have left me fog free even on water days. Only two cons are the lenses scratch fairly easily and the lenses will pop out if you smack your head REALLY hard. I definitely will say they are an excellent value for budget goggles
