She was also a better singer than most people gave her credit for.

I sure do miss the old Carter Fold, especially Jeanette & Joe. It's just not the same now. Sometimes improving something isn't really improving it, you know?

Irish people were there too back in the day. My granny loved the original Carter family, especially meribell and the sisters. What a tragedy when johnny Cash passed 4 months before June Carter. Pass3d ..THE MAN IN BLACK DIED FROM A BROKEN HEART, may they all rip ..the originals of country music live on

Oh, how I wish I could’ve been there. I went to the Carter Family Fold back in 2016, there were all kinds of nice people, great performers. It felt like home to me. Everyone just welcomed me in and greeted me with open arms. I’d love to go back, I’d give anything to.

🙏 Beautiful, this brings me to tears (and I very rarely cry). The lives of Johnny and June in the totality of all ups and downs, without judgment, just looking at it from childhood to old age, is a great masterpiece in creation.

I think June Carter Cash is fun to listen to between songs. I have not seen this video before. I just purchased the CD she was talking about recording.

That's funny that the story was told in the beginning. I've always said Ms. Lynn and Mrs. Carter Cash looked like sisters.

Who is playing lead for Cash in Folsom at this performance?
@angelakelly18842 жыл бұрын
I think it's Jerry Hensley. He played with Johnny and his band for years.
