I Loved Johnny's voice and songs, they tugged at your heart strings. I first heard him on the radio then on records when my older brothers in their teens listened to them. Me from 11 yrs old loved Rock & Roll and still do in my 70s. Love the oldies. God Bless The MAESTRO, JOHNNIE!

Ill never forget John ever since I had the priviledge to open up for him and the Brooklyn Bridge at Club Bene in Sayreville, NJ in January 1992.. John came to see me personally do my tribute to Roy Orbison and was right there at the stairs backstage to shake my hand and congratulate me on doing Roy Orbison!! We then sat down and had dinner together and formed a tight friendship forever! Thanks John. Love you guy! Arty

wow they gave him the coin. in your face rock and roll hall of fame. i saw dion at club bene and surely would have gone to see johnny if i had known. RIP johnny. you were awesome.
