LOVE Johnny - his husband is an Aussie so we have adopted him !! (of course hahaha) Outstanding voice... there's a vid of Johnny, Dami Im, Chris Sebastian and William Barton (Didgeridoo) singing That's what friends are for... worth a look just for interest.

I love that you spontaneously decided to watch the judges comments - especially for that one. Kelly was so crazy...haha....the thing you wouldn't know is that further along Kelly did end up putting water on Guy's seat for him to come back and sit down in 😂😂😂 The chemistry between the judges is so good. A lot of camaraderie, competition and respect for each other. The other people that you asked about were Darren McMullen (the host) and Johnny's partner Chris and members of Chris' family.

Very good! If you hear Whitney Houston first appearance live from the Merv Griffin Show, you’ll notice that he completely took her arrangement and reproduced every run and variation! Being able to recreate that though, and in that way is a true gift!

Johnny has the most extraordinarily flawless male voice of our time. With so much exposure on shows like The Voice Australia and AGT, I don't understand why he's not world famous by now. And he's charming and gorgeous as well. He still gets some high profile gigs here in Australia and I am always thrilled to see him. But he's like a male Whitney Houston. I guess he just hasn't had the right vehicle yet.

Was lucky enough to see this on The Voice (Aus) on TV when it happened. Right from the start, this guy's vocal and delivery was on another level altogether. Kelly Rowland was pretty dirty about being blocked :) .

Johnny was a successful artist in the US before falling in love with an Aussie and moving to Terrigal. He landed a contract with Warner Music as a teenager, opening for Jay Z and Destiny's Child and touring with NSYNC. Johnny was also a semi-finalist on America's Got Talent, his voice being heard all over the world after his audition video went viral. Despite singing his whole life Johnny has always felt he was one step away from making it in his career, and he hopes The Voice is the platform that could take him all the way. Johnny Manuel was a breakout star on The Voice Australia last year. And the 36-year-old singer has now revealed he has lost several loved ones in America to Covid-19.Speaking to The Daily Telegraph on Monday, Johnny confirmed two family members and a friend had died from the respiratory virus. Chris Sebastian actually won this season of The Voice Australia. He's Guy's younger brother. He chose Kelly as his coach, he was an Allstar from one of the first seasons. There's a video that's about 30 minutes long that shows his whole journey through the show. I've watched it a million times. I think the video is titled "Would this coach recognize his own BROTHER in The Voice? You should check it out. Their voices are so different, both wonderful but in their own way.

Johnny is phenomenal and I think he should have won. In the end it was Chris Sebastian, Guy's brother who won. Guy didn't even know Chris was auditioning. He's a great singer too, but my choice was Johnny. His voice is insane, and I think you saw his amazing duet with Guy. The funny thing was that Chris chose Kelly and she ended up as the winning coach. Kelly was quite happy to block the others but couldn't handle being blocked herself. You can see how mad she got. She tipped water over Guy.☹

I was extremely upset with that season, personally I think it was rigged. Guys brother won and Johnny has more talent in his little finger than him. It caused quite a stir around the country. Johnny came to Australia with his band and met his partner and stayed. His partner and his family were back stage.
