I was 17 years old and remember setting around with my mom and dad watching all in the family Sanford and son good times. I mess that more than anything because my mom and dad are dead. Lord what I would give to just set around just one more time with my mother and father and watch these old shows again.

Johnnyboy792 This is the year I was hatched 8/19/72. You know I like it it's 3:00 am on the Friday night/ Saturday morning and I'm on a 70s marathon. It's funny the older I get how the priorities change. Just 10 years ago, never could I imagine siting home on the weekend and being perfectly çontent with it. Then again 10 years ago I didn't sub to Johnny and his fabulous clips. Makes all the difference. Thanks.

The year I missed. January 1972 was the time I went to Vietnam. We all knew though that Hanoi Jane betrayed the American vet. My draft number 32. In June of 73 when I came home the Christmas tree was still up and the family celebrated Christmas that I missed.

I turned 8 the fall of 1972, but it was a significant year in my life, as my younger brother was born. I have 5 older siblings, but he was MY baby. He died in 1992 and I still miss him every day.

I'm in the UK but I remember The Night Stalker and watched The Poseidon Adventure at my local cinema. We had All In The Family here, too, which was based on Till Death Us Do Part. I also remember Governor Wallace being shot and the last moon landing by Apollo 17, Eugene Cernan was the last man to walk on the moon.

I was just eleven in 1972. So many things that happened that year or started that year touched me deeply. Music was so important to me. Shows like MASH would be with me all the way through my last year of college and very greatly shaped my world view. The Night Stalker was our Twilight Zone and scared me happily. What a year.

The Night Stalker was one of the best made for TV movies that was ever made. It's legacy can still be felt today. I think everyone at my school saw it at the time. We were talking about it for weeks.

Irwin Allen strikes again! Poseidon Adventure, aside from being a brilliantly done disaster film, was also, IMHO, the poignant as well. The Cowboys is one of my most favorite John Wayne flicks and the first time I ever saw Bruce Dern! It also became a tv series and we watched it faithfully! Absolutely loved Paul Lynde! The tv movie Gargoyles! Will never forget it! I was actually on one of the movie channels two months ago and I watched it for the first time in at least 20 years! The Night Stalker...so fantastic! It's not nice to fool Mother Nature!! I love these vids! Thank you!

***** Have you ever seen a film called " Straight Time " with Dustin Hoffman as ex con on probation for armed robbery , gets a real jerk as his probation officer played by M. Emmet Walsh . This film also stars Harry Dean Stanton , and Gary Busey . As you know it He breaks probation and hooks up with some old cons and set up some robberies . Yeah Dustin Hoffman plays this very well . He is casted against type but the film is a typical 70's anti hero film .

72. Continued spending lots of time staying in the White House with President Nixon. When President Nixon went to China, he took me, too. After July and my 9th birthday, my parents moved to Macon county N.C. because they were told it was the best place for child abusers. It was HELL. Spent the next 10 years making Macon county the best place for children to live. 1972 was a very important year to me as the chapter in my life defined me even more.

I'm watching most all of these remember videos they really made some good movie is the 70s. Does anyone remember a movie called the 7up? Not the documentary from 7 Up but it was called The Seven-Ups

The one thing that was forgotten that I totally remember was an animated cartoon called "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home ", it was based on "All in The Family ", Tom Bosley of "Happy Days " did the voice of the father. The 1st primetime satirical cartoon.

in the "MOVIES OF THE WEEK" segment you had the theme for the ABC movies but showed clips from ABC and CBS TV movies.

I was giddy to see 1970 Hank Pym in "Avengers Endgame" as I knew it was Michael Douglas from "The Streets of San Francisco". :) I do wish "The House Without a Christmas Tree" was widely available, but it's probably on the site here. Also, Sir Elton, one of my favorites. :)
