as long oilers can prevent shots at skinner than they could be good. Most likely if oilers don't play pickard, they will lose because I doubt they will be able to restrict the amount of shots like they did in the last 2 games vs the nucks. Most likely dallas with their offensive powerhouse will beat the oilers due to them getting more than 20+ shots against AHL skinner.

I think the Oilers have something special brewing. My hope is that McDavid's lingering injury eases up a little and lets him get back to his goal scoring ways. Not for nothing that he got 100 assists this year, but if he was dealing with an injury that would explain why he prefers to pass right now. All that aside, the Oilers defense deserves a lot of credit, keeping them in games that they had to right to be in, and protecting leads like no version of this squad has in the McDavid era. The special teams are both the best in the playoffs too, which makes the matchup with Dallas all the more interesting. Dallas is so well built and has so many answers, it will be interesting to see who steps up next for Edmonton. It will also be the first time in this playoffs that Edmonton enters a series as the true underdog, which hopefully means they play a lot more like they did in Game 6 and the first two periods of Game 7; hungry, high percentage shooting and scoring, just fast and fun hockey. Let's be honest, Edmonton playing for the cup would be more interesting than any of the alternatives. You know you'd want to watch just a little bit more.

Oil get er done in six let’s flippin go !!!

Oilers dominated game 6 and 7. Canucks made game 7 much closer late in the 3rd than they should have, but the Oilers had that one from puckdrop. Canucks have a bright future, but this year was not their year. Oilers know it's probably now or never.

Two things make me think it's the Oilers year. The moment Mcd and Drai patted eachother against Carolina in November before they flipped the season on it's head - and the magical Evander Kane goal in game 6 with the crowd singing. Moments like that make a championship season. The boys just gotta get it done.

What line did dallas pair against mack's line in the aves series?
@cmpalmer5 ай бұрын
They rolled their first and second pairings against Mackinnon's line. The problem with the Stars is they have two very solid Defensive pairings and 3 lines that can all score at essentially equal paces. Colorado learned the hard way that you really can't match lines against the Stars with the way they're built. No one big superstar, but a core filled with relatively equal participants.

I'm sad to say that I will never see the Canucks win the Stanley Cup. I've been a hockey fan for many decades. My very first team that I started watching was the Vancouver Blazers of the WHA. When they moved away, a friend introduced me to the New Westminster Bruins. I had seasons tickets for 4 years during which they won the league championships then went on to the Memorial Cup finals losing the first 2 but winning the next 2. When they moved away I started following the Canucks but, it's just futile. I don't believe that the Canucks will ever be allowed to win the cup. It's been over 50 years for the fans of the Canucks. How many teams have won the cup in just a few years in the league? The Canucks were cursed many, many years ago. I've long thought that they should move the Canucks somewhere, anywhere and bring in an expansion team and do it right this time.

Try being a Flames fan, won the cup when I was 8 and admittedly I would say I didn't appreciate it back then. Fast forward to the '04 run as a 23 year old, inches away from winning the Stanley Cup at home at a game I was attending. Since then nothing, not even close. And no expectation it will ever happen again in my lifetime.

as long oilers can prevent shots at skinner than they could be good. Most likely if oilers don't play pickard, they will lose because I doubt they will be able to restrict the amount of shots like they did in the last 2 games vs the nucks.
