LOVED the reaction. Not everyone likes Wolf right from the start, but EVERYONE loves the live I've talked about in MAMA reaction EXO Mama+Monster+Wolf in Japan.... as I said, it is harder on copyright but it's sooooo good, one of their best ones, live vocals are amazing. MY FAVORITE!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥😭😭😭😭 One interesting fact from EXO, their live performance is much more anticipated by fans. Because when they perform live, their vocal quality really shows. Not many kpop groups can sing live like EXO. Even Korean fans and music critics say that a lot of EXO sound better when they sing live than the studio version. And another fact, every time EXO comeback, their b-side songs are much more anticipated than their title track. You may be surprised to hear his other songs. Because their songs are amazing! Really good quality songs! Very full of musicality.

"Wolf" was EXO's first comeback since their debut promotions and it came out in May 2013 as part of their XOXO album. "Wolf" was another one of EXO's songs that the mainstream public thought SM was making an even bigger mistake with. It was a song and concept that was too unique for most mainstream listeners when it first came out, and most people didn't really like the song or the MV. However, as many have discovered, it's one of those songs that once you listen to it more, it grows on you, and now it has become much more popular. So what you see in their "Wolf" MV is that all 12 members come together to form the Tree of Life and in the middle of the song you see how they split up into EXO-K and EXO-M and each group creates their own tree. How I interpenetrate that is they are showing how the tree has now been split in half and each half of the tree represents the two halves of EXO. In the intro to EXO's debut "Mama" MVs they talk about how the Tree of Life has been split in two and each half has been hidden away. As aliens from Planet Exo, it's EXO's job to find the two halves of the Tree of Life and reunite them in order to restore peace in the world. You should also check out the EXO-M (Mandarin Chinese) version of their "Wolf" MV to see what the song sounds like in Mandarin and to discover how the MV is slightly different. In "Wolf" the members are supposed to be a wolf pack. So the entire MV and the song is them acting like wolves. Everything in this MV says EXO, because as a wolf pack, they are supposed to be inside EXO's cave or the pack's den, etc. (Which some theories have pointed to, could be connected to SuperM's "Tiger Inside" MV.) The choreography was created to use movements that made them seem like wolves, and the moves, such as them showing their claws and bristling their backs and shaking are all things that wolves do as they compete for power and attention, etc. The wolf comes out of the forest (as he scratches the ground behind the Tree of Life) in the beginning of the MV and he is stalking his prey. Their prey is the girl that, in the song, they are talking about being so obsessed with and in love with that they can't help but act like a wolf and capture her so that no one else can have her, etc. In EXO's songs and MVs it is often thought that the girl that EXO sings about is a manifestation of the heart of the Tree of Life. So, that is why EXO becomes so enamored by her and so possessive and protective of her, etc. Protecting the heart of the Tree of Life -- or "the girl" -- is what EXO has been sent to Earth to do. I'm not sure how this concept was supposed to fit into EXO's larger storyline, but many feel that after the 3 Chinese members -- Kris, Luhan and Tao -- left the group that the wolf part of the story was completely dropped and it is no longer part of EXO's story. So we just watch it as a fun side story now instead. Also, if you look up the lyrics of the song you will see that the lyrics are about being a wolf. The main point of the song is they are saying, I'm a wolf, I'm a wolf and I love you so fiercely that I am going to capture you and possess you and devour you like the wolf that I am. If you are impressed with their vocals in the MV, just wait until you see the live concert remix performance of the song. You will be even more blown away when you hear what they can do live, kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2m4loaMnM6Lo6s. "Growl" is the follow up song to "Wolf. "Growl" was the song that was the lead track on the XOXO repackaged album, which came out in August 2013. Once you have seen both "Growl" and "Wolf," you should check out EXO's "Growl"/"Wolf" Drama video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXemp42LiNOoq9U. Watching the drama also might help to explain more of the story in their "Wolf" MV. However, as I said, I'm not sure the story goes any further than being mostly just a fun side story now. Fun fact: Kris' eyes turning red will make more sense once you watch the drama version. On top of being aliens they -- Kris and Luhan in particular, and maybe Lay -- also are wolves. Just watch the short drama video to see what I mean.

Best Live Performance? OMG You can't make me choose. NO!! lol I would Say Wolf Live, Lightsaber Live, El Dorado Live, or White Noise/Thunder/Playboy/Artificial Love So just a fun fact, if you'll notice their formation in the beginning, that is the Tree of Life in their storyline that I told you about before that you also saw in MAMA MV intro. So the guy that belted at the end of the first chorus was baekhyun, main vocal 1 of 3. I would suggest watching lyric vids....the early vids were not dubbed, but the newer ones are now. Can't wait to see the next EXO vid.

As most people are saying, you should DEFINITELY do their MAMA + Monster +Wolf (remix) performance clip. There is a Seoul concert version and there is a Japan concert version. The Japan one has much better camerawork, and all members are present and dancing, but there is post production editing on the vocals (they don't sound as live as they should...Japan concert clips are always like this), also Japan ANYTHING runs a risk of getting copyright strikes. Japan has very strict copyright laws. Some people have no problems, others do. The Seoul concert has much more live sounding vocals, which really shows their amazingness, and Seoul concerts have never been problems for people, but Kai, the main dancer, had to sit the concert out due to an injury (he still sang his parts) and the camerawork is inferior (although they do have more group shots of the stage). It's up to you which one you react to, both are good and bad for various reasons. Honestly, I would recommend watching both, just to compare.
