Awe this was so cute! My heart honestly melted when she spared them -laughed my ass when she shot the elite-. Such a vulnerable moment for them all, and it's nice to show 3 actually not hurting them when their guard is down / they're defenseless. An agent who doesn't fight dirty is a good agent, and even so she kinda... left something behind for them and gave them a chance to get another chance at life, a chance to find a life of peace much like 8 had.

The amount of emotion put into each movement in each character is so great that you don't even need the subtitles to know what they're saying and what they mean. It's difficult for Agent 3 to accept that the war is over (for now). The new generation of Octolings aren't a threat for the Inklings, and vice versa. Very smoothly animation!👍🏻 The ending is so touching where 3 left a message that they are welcome to Inkopolis.
