As someone who lives in Michigan fall is one of the best times to visit. Still fair weather, amazing fall leaf colors, cider mills, apple picking, haunted corn mazes, etc. If you go again in the summer Port Huron is a great place for the lake due to seeing all the barges on the water and being able to swim fairly close to them. You can also see the bridge to Canada and some of Canada in that area. Also the Sleeping Bear Dunes are top notch and you can’t miss taking the ferry to Mackinac Island. You can rent a bike to go around the island!(Cars aren’t allowed to avoid polluting the island).

I've been to Estes Park, CO about 4-5 times and I didn't know there was a name for this path, but I knew EXACTLY what treacherous road you're talking about. I still have nightmares about it and Ive only been through it once during a huge snow storm that blocked the main way up. Colorado is my favorite state to visit, though. It's beautiful in every way, even the flora and fauna are amazing. I usually go in the fall but the whole state feels like Christmas morning. You might like Wyoming, but it's like if Colorado was barren, dry, with seemingly no one around and lots of ghost towns. I've lived in Kansas my whole life, and you have no reason to visit if you haven't already been. There's basically no redeeming qualities. Plus we have about 5 months of 100+f heat and 5 months of -0f, the other 2 months are slightly cold but mostly raining. And doesn't matter what season, it's tornadoes alllll year round and severe weather (Flooding, hail, tornado watches) every other week. The heat is probably the most unbearable part for me. On another note, these are the perfect calm videos for me to watch while decompressing. I wasn't super into the game when I played it, but watching you play makes me want to give it another try. (: Hope you had a good thanksgiving John!

Now I want to visit Colorado. It sounds beautiful. Not that anyone cares, but listening to John made me realize even more that I need to see more of this country and the world. But air travel is very often painful (and expensive) and driving from the East Coast to the middle of the country or further is a bit daunting. Might get an RV and do it in style one day though. I love hearing about people’s impressions of different places in the U.S. and beyond. I’d really like to see Ireland one day, where my ancestors lived and left in search of a better life. This world has so much to see and experience, but you need time and money to see even a quarter of it. I hope I live that long and can save up enough to do even half of what I’d like. If anyone reading this has traveled a lot, you’re lucky and I hope you got lots of photos.
@cemeteryclown876024 күн бұрын
@@kat.w.RBF444 I hope you get to visit Colorado, it's really worth it. If you do visit, head up to Estes Park. They have great cabins to stay in, with wonderful views. And it's right by the Rocky Mountain National Park. I've never taken a plane, I've only driven up there but fortunately for me, its not too far from Kansas, maybe a 10hr drive or so. The price of gas and hotels/cabins can be quite expensive though. I think I spent around 2-3k last time to stay for just a week. It's been a plan of mine to get an RV and travel around the US for a long time now but recently, I decided I'd rather head up to Europe. There's a lot I'd like to see here in the US first, but Germany is my ultimate final destination. Expenses are my biggest setback as well. I'm on disability and foodstamps so I don't make much money at all. Luckily I have family members who have the same traveling goals, and we're helping each other to reach that. I hope you get to reach those goals, sincerely. I'd recommend looking at places you want to visit through google street view, I fell in love with Berlin just looking around the whole city in google street view. I might have to take a plane to get to that one though 😂

Happy Thanksgiving, John! Thank you for the upload, this was such a treat! Also there’s a lot of dialogue you missed during Jack’s coming-home party that clarifies certain characters’ mindsets, Molly’s in particular. It’s all kind of easy to miss, but at around 2:03:51, Molly & Dutch get into a pretty heated argument. She yells at him for “ruining” her life & Dutch just brushes her off and ignores her, you can see parts of it in the subtitles on screen. Pretty interesting stories that go on in the background that I only really noticed on my second playthrough lol.

I feel bad that people in Arthur’s life suck so much. I’m pretty sure Dutch is on his way to getting the gang kicked out of Saint Denis. He made them outlaws, tried to rub elbows with the sheriff, and is now hanging around the mafia. For a father figure, he’s such a mess. And Mary seems manipulative too in the way she somewhat puts down Arthur but also brings up their past relationship whenever she needs help. I get it that she doesn’t like him being an outlaw, but it kinda feels like she’s stringing him along now that her husband is dead. I hope she redeems herself sometime, but for now it feels like about half of Arthur’s support circle sucks. Tilly, Mary-Beth, Lenny, and Charles seem ok so far, and I don’t really mind Kieran either.

It's a nice attention to detail. I don't remember if I already commented this or not (because it's this game that made me think of it), but the other day I was telling my partner that fighting wolf enemies in games makes me uncomfortable. I know that for realism sake, they have to yelp like that when they're injured, but the hurt dog yelp immediately makes me feel bad every time. It's like an instinctual thing.

So glad to not only see an unexpected episode today but also that you're finally giving Victoria more of the good stuff! For the saddles, you won't find the good ones at the stables. You need to go to the trapper for the good stat saddles (ngl, they're kinda ugly though 😅). Depending on the saddle, they usually require a legendary pelt and/or perfect skins. Thankfully, the game will always give you enough of the legendary pelts needed to purchase all items that require them if you want to do so. I usually get any and all small pelts that fit on my horse during my travels, sell less than perfect ones to regular shops that take them and save perfects for Pearson if camp needs them or the trapper since he keeps a running total for purchases. Makes it not feel so chore-like. The other legendary items you get from the animals (hearts, claws, etc.), sell to a fence. Happy Thanksgiving!

The region I live is simply the best one out of the entire country for someone to live, we can even drink tap water here, because it is the cleanest of the whole South, and criminality rates are the lowest around (not in all cities, capitals are still dangerous). When it comes to tourism, we have many beaches, mountains and even snow here! There's also some towns that have a majority German-speaking population (That's crazy to think about). So I'm proud of my state and I'm proud of the Southern region.

He definitely interprets things in ways that don’t seem to align with the books as time goes on. It’s interesting seeing his character almost derail which you’ve commented on. Not giving big spoilers but you may want to give Arthur a bath and get him looking nice before continuing the Mary mission. Not that it’s necessary but I recall her mentioning Arthur’s appearance and that’s a pretty fun mission in general with her that I think you’d enjoy if you decide to do it.
