Turn Book Pages Into Handmade Tags | Calm Aesthetic DIY | Tutorial - I make 8 botanical tags from book pages, a calm process, relaxing aesthetic DIY. A tutorial from start to finish step by step and fun! I make the tag base from book pages and add lovely paint in shades of green. I decorate them with botanical images and with fabric and washi.

I think old sheeting/ cotton/ linen has endless possibilities - I have used it for stamping on, using archival quality inks. If you tea dye it first and you use some of your Earthtones pads, you'd get a great result.

You do a very nice job of explaining your aesthetic choices. I've done a few of these bases. Have made 2 portfolios. The rest are at the ready...some with tissue applied, some gel printed and some in their original state. I've enjoyed making them.

Joie, such beautiful tags. I have started using your method with the book pages and am loving it! As far as fabric is concerned is I basically use it like card. With fabri-tac you can back it onto card stock and make tags, pockets, covers, bookmarks etc. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦

I love the smooshing technique - esp with water colours or Distress Inks.. I must try this over the weekend. I always watch your videos and start to have a go...
