Thank you Shannon. Next want to try Bubble Crepe but want contrasting colors so the yarn really pops!

This is so cool, Cyd!!! This is my first time hearing about crepe yarn! I want to look into cable yarn too! Thank you so much for sharing these adventures, my curiosity has definitely been peaked!!! I keep meaning to spin a Z twist yarn because I’ve heard there is less chance of splitting or the plies coming apart when crocheting with a Z twist. 🤷🏻♀️ love to see you at your wheel! Oh! I was noticing your blending board in the background, what kind do you have and would you recommend it? I’ve found some very inexpensive ones on Amazon that I’ve been thinking about trying but I’m afraid becusse they are so much less than others I’ve seen. Lol. I can’t decide!! 🥰

@@katiesbeenyarnified Hi Katie! Thank you! I love trying new techniques and spinning different styles. The next one I’m wanting to try is a bubble crepe. They look soo cool. Yes a Z twist yarn is best for crocheting unless you are a left handed crocheter. My blending board I do believe came off of Amazon. If I can find it, I’ll definitely shoot you an email. I do recommend it, the only down fall is you may have to put some hot glue on the bottom to keep from sliding all over.

@@SweetpeaCydsInspirations Thank you so much! Hot glueing sounds easy enough, I wouldn’t mind having to do that, as long as the glue doesn’t negatively impact how the board works. How long have you had your board? Bubble crepe sounds amazing, I can’t wait to see that one and I need to go back and watch when you made the boucle yarn, I happen to be a big fan of boucle yarn. Have you ever seen Berroco Coco? It’s not boucle, but it just popped into my head. lol. It’s a chunky yarn that I would loooove to learn how to make! I want to make myself an oversized sweater in that yarn, but it’s so expensive, I need to just learn how to make it. It looks like it’s a chunky roving style yarn that’s then plied with a lace weight yarn or thread. Anyway, it’s so much fun to think about. I’d honestly love to chat spinning and/or yarn and everything with you sometime! No pressure, just think it would be fun. 💕

@@katiesbeenyarnified you’re welcome!💛 I have had my blending board for at least a year and a half. Maybe longer. I haven’t tried Boucle yarn yet. Possibly thinking of another creator? lol but I have down a hawser 4 ply which is a cable yarn. I am up for going live and talk about spinning/ fiber or whatever. Just let me know your thoughts and we can work something out! I did send you an email last night. Hopefully was the right email.
