I got disqualified for lazy eye too I just need to go see a doctor and get my waiver hopefully everything goes well

Believe me, if I was able to get a waiver you should be just fine

I have 20/25 Correctable and 20/400 noncorrectable in the other should I be able to join on a waiver?

Hi, just found you on KZbin. I was in marine 2 years ago and now apply for Navy Dive. Do you need to do waiver again for that ? Do you know how long it take to get approved by waiver and I will be 30 this November. Thanks

As long as with glasses your vision is corrected to 20/20 I don't know why they care

My astigmatism level is 3.25 and it's .25 over the limit. I need a waiver. Is their any hope

Wanna ask would they have a waiver for nerve condition or nerve damage

As long as the Nerve Damage doesn't affect mobility or your ability to do normal things you might be fine. The best thing you can do is contact a recruiter.

+jake peak you may need to get a letter from a doctor. I've heard of people getting waived for it. Best advice is to ask a local recruiter.

Trust me, your recruiter knows whats best. Rule of thumb, if it's not asked DON NOT BRING IT UP. Never give the Navy, or the people at MEPS more than they need.

13B Gunner, I'm going in to AECF, Advanced Electronic Computer Field. I'll be either a Fire Controman (FC) or a Electronics Technician. I actually enjoyed MEPS, all three times. I made a video all about it, it's episode two.

13B Gunner due to OPSEC all i can say that as of now it's in August of 2017. However, I'm trying to get it moved up.

ive heard its technically not OK to get tattoos after boot cuz ur considered military property

+UMassForTrump not entirely true. If the tattoo is going to be visible you have to get a chit, something like a waiver, from your command.

Im not sure the exact term for it. however its the one when it vears outwards.

Oh okay thanks for the video I'm also in the process of enlisting in the NAVY. I to have strabismus in one eye but I can control it to a certain degree. I also had one surgery on it. Do you have prism in your glasses

Regina N No. I wear regular lenses for my eye sight. unless you're planning to go spec ops or specwar your lazy eye shouldn't get in the way of enlisting.
