Here after Billy Kametz (Josuke's VA) announced he's fighting cancer and won't be doing voice work while he's facing treatment. It's really unfortunate that this means that if ASBR gets dubbed, Josuke might get recast as a result. :( He's one of my faves in the JoJo dub, so this might be the next best thing aside from the voices in this becoming a mod either way. Wishing him the best. EDIT 6/11/22: I just hope whoever fills in for him now can be a great soundalike...rest in peace, Billy. 😭

The English Dub deserves way more love. It gets slept on too damn much. Yes, I know the sub is much more iconic and it’s given us the memes over the years, but much like how people live to boast about DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, and even Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh dubs (granted some of those are fueled by nostalgia), JOJO’s dub has a lot of talented people involved in this. It deserves its own spot amongst the greats.

I did consider doing Eyes of Heaven. Only real caveat is that if I were to do Eyes of Heaven, I would probably only do the characters that weren’t in All Star Battle, as most of the returning cast just use slightly altered versions of their All Star Battle GHAs. Other than that, I’d probably attempt as many of the Dual Heat Attacks as I reasonably could. It is something I’ve been thinking about, but we’ll see what happens. Definitely not impossible though

See, the only problem is that most anime games won’t bother with English dubs, because it costs a hell of a lot extra to do voices twice. Unless you’re a series like Dragonball, whose has a legacy audience in the west and a hell of a budget, I wouldn’t get my hopes up for a dub of this game. That said, this is incredibly well done. I’m genuinely impressed!

Then again, even the One-Punch Man game got dubbed, despite its seasonal rot and having subsequently been abandoned by former fans by the time the game dropped (just a few months after S2). Demon Slayer too, but then again, it _boomed_ in popularity compared to JJBA which took a few years to gain momentum internationally (then again, not even the AOT games got dubbed - the first MHA game was sub-only too). But who knows, maybe like the second MHA game, they might add a dub as a free patch update.

This is some really admirable work. As someone who is really hoping ASBR gets a dub, this is truly amazing, and I can't believe the effort that went into it. Audio in mixing in some places could use some fixing here and there, though, as there were bits where the game audio drowned things out, but this was still a great video! These voice samples sound so clean! Also, important tidbits should ASBR get a dub update: -Like in the TSRK miniseries, Landon McDonald will voice Rohan. I don't think I need to say why. -Josuke will need a new VA as well due to Billy Kametz's unfortunate passing. -Kira/Kosaku will _also_ need a new VA due to D. C. Douglas having a similar if not identical controversy to Vic attached to _his_ name as well (which is also the reason why he got replaced as Odin in Shin Megami Tensei V and Wesker in Dead By Daylight).

Like I said, it's what cost him two voice roles: Keith Silverstein now voices Odin in Shin Megami Tensei and Connor Fogarty now voices Wesker in Resident Evil. D.C, _did_ congratulate Connor for succeeding him as Wesker like Vic did for JYB as Broly and Landon as Rohan. Wait... maybe Connor can be the new Kira?
