I can see the idea behind the last bit of the ending, but I can easily imagine it must suck to actually see it With what we've heard leading up to now, using "You get what you f-ing deserve" was most definitely out of spite for the fans Like "Oh that line's a meme? Well guess what..." Why stop at ruining the ambiguity of the original when you can bury the possibility of any more sequels, as well? (which is no doubt for the best)

I have no idea what the thought process behind this movie even was, like did they understand the audience for the first joker at all. (I didnt really care for the joker, i thought it was alright on its own, but a terrible batman movie) the joker is basically the patron saint of incels lol, so make the sequel a musical about a hot chick. I know studios keep saying they make things intentionally to piss the fans off, but ive always just assumed it was an excuse for making garbage, cus even they have to know theyre not gonna make money that way.

Honestly Harley Quinn is in it and important but it's very much a joker movie. I think the thought process was hey a billion dollar movie. Make another. And then they just never got beyond that point

@@filthycasual69 fair enough but my main point is, Joker was a movie adopted by the incels (whether people like it or not) and you know what they hate more than anything else, watching a hot chick bullshit their way through life, which has basically been Lady Gaga's career up to and including this role lol

@@filthycasual69 I guess I should mention (with the exception of the original animated series) I do not like Harley lol, in much the same way Joaquin's joker is the patron saint of incels, the modern interpretation of Harley is the patron saint of crazy ex-gfs everywhere lol ie hot, crazy and zero accountability, its gotten to the point where if I meet someone whose favorite character is Harley, I move in the opposite direction lol

From what Ive heard and seen Todd definitely didnt want to make a sequel. Also wonder if there was a some spite involved for fans of the first one. Oh, you guys like Joker? You like the memes you think hes a sympathetic character? Yeah nah you guys are getting what you deserve in this one. Joker sucks Joker isnt even Joker and now his girl leaves him and he gets killed story over cutains drawn youre done.

@filthycasual69 😅 I think what will really change your experience is how you go into it. The first one was a hard social commentary drama. I do think those aspects are still there. I appreciate Arthur being more like the Goofy Comic Book/Animated Joker. I think people forget before Heath, Joker was always really silly. If you look at it as a fun movie with dark elements, you'll be smiling ear to ear.
