I kinda like the scene by scene review. Makes me feel like I'm not missing anything by listening to your review instead of seeing the movie

That’ll most likely stay as our standard format with the occasional one-off like this

So glad to hear your even review. I echo most of the same thoughts, but most people are on the full 1/10 bandwagon it seems

i wasnt happy with the movie. i wanted to like it but I couldn't. it was not the first one

Watching this in IMAX with Laser GT on the UK’s largest screen on Saturday. I’m going in with low expectations after many of the dreadful reviews online. Will watch your video afterwards. Thank you Gil.

Yeah I went in with low expectations and just curiosity of how it could be as bad as everyone says haha Won’t spoil what I thought of it so I can save it for when you watch

In the first movie, his infamous, they get what f'n deserve, suggests that there are forces out there who have not been persecuted for hidden actions which is also the #1 conspiracy line/theme.

Disappointed with Joker 2. Not a total car crash, there was stuff I liked but I left the cinema thinking WTF….

Question: did anyone else notice that they spoke about 'New York' instead of Gotham City at some point during the trial? Isnt that a blatant error?
@GermeezyАй бұрын
I noticed that and it threw me off. But apparently Gotham is in New York, according to the comic nerds I asked

Is Joker on his meds from the jail the entire time? What I liked about Joker 1 was that he definitely seemed mentally ill. Either manic/depressive and/or descending into sociopathy. But once Joker 2 says it was all a put on. It's a let down. Cuz it seems to me that the r*pe and Puddles' sense of betrayal would have caused Joker 1 to go deeper in denial and want to seek out revenge. But maybe the movie wants you to believe the medication cured him of all his delusional thinking. So I'm wondering if the movie is saying that in Joker 2 he finally gets the mental health treatment he needed all along and it cures him of his delusions. Which makes me feel that the purpose of Joker 2 was just to cure him and then kill him. And I don't see why they would think that would be compelling or a necessary story to tell. In which case, a better story would have been killing off Joker 2 in prison early on and then watching the birth of the new Joker with Harley Quinn. Just not sure Mr. Phoenix would have stuck around for that.

Arthur told Lee that he had already stopped taking the meds when she snuck into his cell....
@Stress-Free-KАй бұрын
@@dreadelectric7745 So if Arthur is telling the truth to Lee then his delusions should have resumed. That's the way it works with schizophrenics and manic depressives with delusional disorders. The Arthur in Joker 1 was more interesting and sympathetic than this Arhtur we see in Joker 2. Who seems to have a few doses of anti-psychotics and is miraculously cured of his condition. But people with real mental health issues that cause delusional thinking generally have to be on those meds for the rest of their lives. I think people are picking up on the fact that this is essentially a very different Arthur Fleck in Joker 2 who is basically just running a con. Hence the sense of betrayal.

What a terrible review. The guy at the end is not the Ledger/ Joker. The movie takes place 40 years ago. Harvey Dent is in it. This movie is a turd. Not a good movie
@OneTakeVidsАй бұрын
That was obviously a CGI Heath Ledger at the end, how did you miss that?
