I bought a new watch from Jomashop and they sent me a USED model with damaged packaging, a manual from a completely different watch and THREE LINKS MISSING from the bracelet! They refused to pay for return shipping and didn't even apologize for sending out a dud watch. I'd heard horror stories about how bad Jomashop customer service is, but thought they were overblown. Not so, the stories are true - Jomashop is AWFUL. You save $$ but buyer beware, they don't give a fig about you as a customer. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m amazed they are still in business.

Yes, I'm experiencing something of what you describe. It's been already 2 and a half weeks since I ordered my Orient Star classic and it still hasn't been shipped. I spoke with a representative 9 days ago and she said it would be shipped within a few days (Monday or Tuesday). While I'm not angry about it, I probably won't be doing business with the company again. Stories about items arriving broken or defective, difficulties in getting refunds, poor and rude customer service, extremely late shipment, not always indicating the item isn't in stock, all strike me as dumb from a business standpoint. If you want a thriving company, your reputation must be as clean as possible. If it isn't you'll begin losing credibility and many customers.

@@toffeeblitz3045 Actually, it was shipped last Thursday. DHL notified me that I should receive the package by this Monday. So from the time I ordered the watch to Monday, it will have been 3 and a half weeks.

@@toffeeblitz3045 It seems to be fine so far. Great look. Hope the accuracy improves with wear, though. 15 seconds fast on the 1st day. I've heard that the Orient Star classic (with blue hands) is as accurate as the less expensive Orient bambinos - 10 seconds fast, roughly. Certainly could be better, but still acceptable. And hopefully, with wear, it will reach that point - or better.

Interestingly, my other Orient, the Elegant Star Classic, has averaged about 2 seconds fast in the course of a week. That's phenomenal for an automatic. Also my 2nd generation bambino, less than half the price of the one I just received, averages between 5 to 8 seconds a day fast (very good, in my view).

That's why you should have used a credit card. That way you could have called up your credit card company and say Hey. I have not got my product and I want to cancel my product. But you should never buy anything on the Gray market. Because Gray market, no matter what it is. They tell you for like, on your watch, $1400. They're going to look around to see if they can buy it for a $1000. So they self to you 14 and well. They may or may not be able to find your watch.

I agree what to say about the shipping I order a perfume and he was September 15th and I'm still waiting for this perfume to come they will say about a week or two they will send me a notification and then I'm trying to call them I can't get nobody on the phone number and no answer I'm very very mad about it

I purchased a new Rolex Sky-Dweller from Jomashop after applying the trade-in value for an older Rolex I sold them. I did first take time reading myriad reviews and given the overwhelmingly positive consensus of the reviews I had seen, I had no qualms using Jomashop. From the time I submitted my form for a trade-in quote to the time I received my new watch (full disclosure, I am in Long Island, NY and Jomashop is in Brooklyn), it was 4 - 5 days. Jomashop used UPS for shipping and they paid for my shipping costs getting the watch I traded in to them. I was attended to via email and phone every step of the way. The entire experience was better than any so called AD I have ever visited. The new watch is spectacular both in appearance and functionality. There will always be some percentage of issues with any business or product. (For example, would we suggest one never do business with Apple due to the percentage of issues that have occurred with their products over the years?). But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jomashop to any prospective online watch buyer and would encourage that you ignore this video.

I ordered an Orient blue dial kamasu watch from Jomashop, they sent me a black dial, I already contacted them and they said that they will send me a blue one as soon as I ship back the wrong watch. Should I return the watch? I am concern that by the time they receive the watch that I will be returning, they might tell me that the Blue Orient Kamasu is not available.

After seeing all the positive reviews about the website and the cheap prices, I have ordered a watch a month ago that was supposedly going to be shipped within 1-3 weeks. After several attempts of tracking my order and reaching a page that said that there was an error, I emailed their customer service. Only to find out that they did not have the watch that I ordered in inventory. That was literally the first time I have heard from them and the first time that I was informed that they did not have the watch in inventory, when their watch was listed as “in stock” on the website, and mind you it still is listed as “in stock” on the website. For the last month I’ve been emailing them back-and-forth and the only thing that I’ve been told over and over again is that the watch will arrive in their inventory in one week. I’ve gotten absolutely no information about when the shipment is supposed to arrive to me or when the watch is realistically going to arrive in their warehouse. I’m contemplating whether or not I should open a dispute through PayPal.

Lol, last week I was on the Jomashop website looking at a Longines dress watch that "ships in two to three weeks." I decided to pass on it for one that's in stock. Today I got an email from JS entitled "LOW INVENTORY ALERT: The Longines item you were looking at is almost sold out!" with a link to the dress watch. So I clicked on it to see if maybe the watch was back in stock. Nope, still says "Ships in two to three weeks." That's some low inventory, alright. Given the nature of the business, I doubt they can really predict when certain watches will come in and just say "two to three weeks" to try to make the sale.

Sure, I gave that some thought but I know within seconds that my Amazon order ships or a charge has been made on my credit card. Now we even get a picture of our packages when they are delivered. Jomashop should be able to update their inventory in real time.

Hi wish had seen this before I bought my watch from Joma. Had bought other lower end watches from them no issue. Then purchased my first high end planet ocean omega from them. Meant to be new. Came with clear badly re-polished scratches on casing . Contacted straight away, customer service was dismal they offered to repolish again. Considering they sold me a flawed watch as new and only offered to destroy it more will not spend my money there again. Buyer beware, shop at your own risk.

This whole situation sounds like it was your fault not theirs. They literally gives you an estimate of usually ship in whatever amount of time . That is the definition of an estimate. . When you buy a watch from them that they don’t have in stock that means they have to acquire it. I’ve ran into this once and I just cancelled the order . I didn’t feel like waiting .Other that I’ve stuck to only buying watches they have in stock and never had an issue . I would just recommend to people if you’re going to purchase from them stick to what is already in stock.

Spot on. They're a grey market retailer so their inventory is subject to availability from intermediaries. They almost never get anything from the manufacturer, they have to rely on Authorized Distributors having to dump inventory, or going out of business. On manufacturers close out inventory they may get stuff direct. I think on lower end watches that are sold in more volume they figure inventory becomes available frequently enough, and even that they seem to have it figured out since some items are 2 to 3 weeks and others are 5 to 7 weeks. The higher end stuff is harder to get so that'll always be notify or contact. I completely agree with you to just buy what is actually in stock. I just received (my first purchase) a Hamilton Khaki Navy 40mm Black Dial on Rubber that I received in less than a week. 2 days for them to fulfill the order 2 day USPS Priority shipping. It is perfect. My guess this was a Hamilton close out now that the have the 43mm version with 300M WR. I wanted the smaller size and only need 100M WR since the most I'll do is swim at depths less than 10 feet.
