Here's a big update vid on the progress I've made on this Lowe 1436 jon boat to bass boat conversion. Sorry it took me a while to get this out. I've put allot of time into this jon boat conversion and this video brings it all into light. Can't believe how high up you are going with the decking on a 14x36 boat. I did mine with a deck only about 10 inches high and it was so tippy I decided I could not trust getting on it to sit and fish much less stand and fish. Your mileage may vary.

What’s the purpose of the pool noodles? Do you keep them on after the build is done also ?

Nah. It's to protect the gunnel rails from scratching them up during the build.
