@relentlessamerican9373Ай бұрын
You don’t understand steroids. Typical for a main stream mma fans of any sport. Fighters don’t take long acting hormones aka steroids with slow releasing esters. They take hormones like halo and turinable or fast acting testosterone in water suspension which is in and out of their system within a day. You don’t and cannot put on extra muscle with these,not even if you take them every day. It’s said they can add to strength and endurance and speed, but this is very misleading. If you bench press 315 and take halo you still can only bench press 315 but maybe be able to push one more rep. None of these drugs are good for cardio, they cause high blood pressure and you feel it when hitting a bag. Jones hasn’t ever failed for hormones either. He failed for clomid and some other supplements that aren’t steroids nor are they actually effective. Clomid is a fertility drug, yes men use it coming off a steroid cycle but he would have failed for the actual steroids too. This picogram none sense is dumb. If you take testosterone Enanthate or nanadrolone decaonate you will fail a drugs test for up to 2 years. Those are the two most common hormones taken. And after a 12 week cycle you can absolutely enhance your strength speed and endurance. Not sure why main stream mma fans advocate for the ban of testosterone replacement. It helps the athletes heal, helps them fight harder and keeps them in the sport for longer. This logic doesn’t make sense, if that’s the case fighters 20 to 30 shouldn’t be allowed to fight anyone over the age of 35. Androgenic anabolic hormones are the most misunderstood drugs in the world. People with zero knowledge on what they are and how they really work have the biggest opinions on them. They don’t work the way you think, they aren’t as powerful as you think and they aren’t magic like people think. 70% of men that take gear get zero results. Let’s talk body building,if you cannot build muscle without gear you can’t build muscle with gear. To get any benefits of gear you have to push your body past the limit. If you don’t have this mentality then they won’t do Anything for you. The guys that are champions would be champions with or without gear. Let’s just say i hit 185 pounds with 13% body fat naturally and that’s as far as my genetics can possibly go with maintaining that low of body fat. I start taking gear, but I don’t train harder than I was and I don’t eat more. The gear won’t do it for me. It will allow my body to grow more if I can push past that barrier. I’ve seen dozens of men blast gear for years and they look like shit, they look average. My point is they aren’t turning men into savage monsters. And in mma they can’t cycle long enough to get any real benefits other than a therapeutic effect and help with some healing. In the sport of mma there needs to be certain claws that allow the athletes to take gear and hgh. Healing is one of those claws. This sport is brutal and the injuries sustained can alter a career. Why not let an athlete use gear and hgh when coming back from a bad injury? Don’t you want to see some of the best fighters come back and not fall off? Don’t you want to see these guys have longer careers? Don’t you want exciting fights? Oh is it to dangerous to let them take gear? Wait gear was used in this sport till 2013 and the ufc is the only promotions that drug tests so all other mma promotions athletes are taking gear… no deaths and the injuries are the same.

The fact that Jones still has people defending him or his "legacy" is insane to me. His second championship reign at LHW was mediocre at best: - they changed the state/location for the Gustafsson II bout because he was full of steroids and was not allowed to compete in the state of Nevada; - the Smith fight was mediocre at best; - barely won against Santos in a split decision; - was gifted a win against Reyes, a fight even Dana publicly acknowledged in the post-fight interview that he lost (of course in 2024, he forgot all about that); He then took 3 years off and was only "ready" to fight Ngannou, once he knew it wasn't going to happen at all. Got a favorable match-up against Gane and that was it at HW, now an easy fight on paper against Miocic (42) coming off a brutal KO loss to Ngannou. Also, what's with this bullshit that Jones is old now? Alex Pereira is the same age (37) and if he beats Rountree later this year, he'll have 3 championship wins in 2024. Of course he's never going to fight a guy like Aspinall, only making Dana and the UFC look like clowns for claiming left and right that he destroys everyone and that he's the GOAT of MMA. Bayliun said he would rather see the legends fight than Jones vs Aspinall because the Aspinall fight will never happen and then when Jason questioned whether it was just a case of accepting that we’re only going to get Jones vs Stipe and so we should take it because it’s better than nothing, Bayliun reiterated that he was more interested in seeing the Stipe fight than the Aspinall fight. His justification, and his entire argument in general, made no sense.

Pereira got easily outwrestled by a 185lb pure kickboxer in Izzy. He's so bad at wrestling he might actually convince Jones to fight one last time after Stipe (5-1 & 7-1 underdogs vs Jones), while ducking the -150 favourite defending HW champion Aspinall

It Jon was to take the fight with Tom on short notice, it would be because his game plan at heavyweight 100% get the take down and don’t get punched in the face. Imo that is for sure his game plan against any potential heavyweight. Right now I’m sure he is prepared to take down and out wrestle both Tom and Stipe.

I think it’s ok to acknowledge a 37 year old goat wanting to fight other legends and at a higher weight class at that. I want to see Jon fight any legends, I would even say skip Aspinal and fight Alex Piera who is also on the older side. An era dies with Jon, let him own it
@luka-ut7ykАй бұрын
He can vacate the belt and fight legends but being the champion and not fighting the interim is bullshit
@jamesthompson9003Ай бұрын
That's just weak. Jones is sitting on the belt (which is supposed to represent the best guy in the weight class), yet you only want hm to fight 5-1 and 7-1 underdogs rather than the defending HW interim champ (who is favourite to beat him)? After he easily beats Stipe and Pereira, what next, a 48yo Fedor?

@@GRestores True. So if Stipe and Alex aren't available, pull Arlovski out of retirement for Jones? The aim of the game here is allowing Jones to retire 'undefeated,' (we all saw him lose easily to Reyes 2 fights ago), so he must under no circumstances be allowed to fight the actual HW champ Aspinall. Good to hear about how you 'don't care about the belt', despite advocating for the guy *with the belt* to only fight lay-up retirees. The funny thing is, you're pretty representative of Jones fans - haven't seen a single one of them saying he should fight the defending HW champ -150 favourite Tom - only 5-1 & 7-1 lay-ups like Stipe & Pereira
@davidwhite5377Ай бұрын
If John had anything about him he should give up the belt because it won't get taken off him and he's holding up the devision for a fight that no one cares about. I've never wanted a nice bloke to get injured before but that's the only way for John and Tom so that's all I want.

This is killing the credibility of UFC. Jones got so lucky to win the way he did with a cherry picking style choke on ciryl gane. This is like the WWE where they match certain people instead of the best against the best. Who asks for a fight against someone over 40 who hasn't fought in 3 years. No champions should be able to dodge the best completion especially after only winning one fight and getting a title shot his first fight. It's a joke
