What a terrible tragedy this Angel lost her voice but she’s still teaching her craft ! It’s a shame that America didn’t get to see more of her. What a magnificent and angelic voice!

I hope that someday Jon Lord will be recognized as one of the greatest musicians of our time. While enjoying his superb work with Deep Purple, he was expanding our minds at the same time, with the other music he loved. Be in peace, but don't rest too much, for wherever you are, your music will be listened.

I love the ending of this video, Jon thanking Sam and the response from her. I think that Sam felt the greatness of singing with an orchestra, and a great song. I could hear shivers in her voice at the quiet parts. Beuatiful! I met Mr. Jon Lord in 1983, talked with him for about an hour and i can truly say, what a great man!

Jon Lord the Mozart of our time. The man put beauty in Rock and Roll. He was the most talented musician to play in a hard rock band. Ken Hensley sure borrowed the Lord sound and a accomplished musician with a ear for beauty. Rain comes to mind when listening to this master piece.

@paulfoulds36753 жыл бұрын
@@jasonehall1Hi Jason, of course I will, this is what I really appreciate about You Tube. The interaction between people with a common interest, unknown to each other is wonderful, isn’t it?? Anyway, enough philosophy for now!! Her mother was Vicki Brown, RIP 30 years ago, wife of Joe Brown and Sams Mother. I really think the best way for you to get to know her is to look her up on Google, then Spotify and finally back to You Tube. My own favourite of hers is “Look for me in Rainbows” followed closely by “Stay with me till the morning” Please let me know how you get on? Regards, Paul
