I live near John Basilone's home town. It holds a yearly Basilone Parade. One year, Seda was in the parade, riding high on some vehicle. The interaction was amazing. Seda was not smiling a big smile with big waves. Rather, he was quiet and thoughtful as he locked eyes with each of the townspeople and vets along the route. There was something sacred, as if he were paying honor to both Basilone and the people who produced such men. A memorable experience.

Jon Seda is a great actor and John Basilone is basically the crowning jewel of his acting career.

i honestly hadn't seen jon since 1997. Pretty wild to see actors get older when you're used to them in an old role.

As a Marine, his role hit me hard, and I love that he really resonated with the role.

Yes but during the early campaigns such as Guadalcanal and the Philippines, he was a sergeant, it wasn't until he got back home to the states where he Became a gunny

@LongliveSnak2e What's wrong with a man liking men? Do you have your own secret desires for men. There are support groups for that, yo.
